I picked up this monitor as a second display for my laptop. I chose this because of the technical specs, the super thin bezels, and the super thin panel. The overall design looks very sleek. There’s no DisplayPort, but the HDMI connection is sufficient for me. I like that it does not have a glossy display, so there’s never any glare. Other than tilt, there is no other type of adjustment of the display. The speakers are horrible, but I didn’t expect them to be great. It doesn’t matter to me since I use external speakers anyway. If audio on the monitor is important to you, Asus has a similarly spec’d MX279H with Bang & Olufsen audio. I have not heard the audio on that model, but it has to better than the audio on here. However that other model does not have as thin a panel, if it matters.

Just put it on my table. Never drop or touch it. There was a green line appears in the middle of the screen after a few months using it.

I have had a 24" Acer for about 4 years now, and its been a terrific monitor. However, I found this one on sale, and there was only 1 in stock in a 100 mile radius of my location. They didnt have it on display, and I was concerned about the "ice gold" on the bottom panel. Well, I got it home, and set it up, and it looks amazing! The metal face plate isnt really gold, its more of a nickel color like others have indicated. Windows doesnt detect its manufacturer or model number, but my AMD Radeon software correctly identifies it. The blue light options are all really "blue." I have to put it on the lowest setting, otherwise its an extreme blue tint, especially sitting next to my previous monitor which does not have this feature. You have to adjust the gamma and brightness and color settings for things to look proper, but once you do, it looks legit. Text looks fine (was worried about that on a 27" 1080p monitor, but no concerns there) and it plays games without any issues. I am really pleased with this model, especially considering the pre-black Friday deal I got on it.

Excellent graphics, is very good for edit photos and videos

The monitor is bright and sharp, but when it breaks count on it being in for warranty repair for months. I'm currently using my old LG monitor which is far sturdier. Complaints about the slow service are common. Basically if the monitor breaks they hold onto the broken monitor until the warranty runs out.
