Cooks great and pre-programmed settings are on point. However, it is huge and gets in the way when cooking. Maybe wouldn't recommend in an older kitchen with lower cabinets. Vent is loud and hood lights have blow out in less then a month.

Very quiet. I can talk to someone in the next room standing near it running. I screened for internal size and wattage so that I could cook with larger dishes for crowds. It meets both of these well. It sticks out a little further than my old one for the same oven size.

so glad I researched many different microwaves, the Accupop feature and the steam mode are incredible. Best buy by far!!

I purchased this microwave for a gift this Christmas and its surpassed my expectations. it's really quiet when in use which is really nice and it doesn't beep loudly it plays a pleasant musical note when finished.

Really good one get and try it you won't be disappointed

I purchased this microwave to replace a still functioning 25 year old whirlpool microwave in an effort to update my kitchen. Unfortunately for me, after a year and a couple months this microwave broke (just in time for the 1 year warranty to be expired!). It no longer acknowledges that the door has been opened, so it will no longer turn on to heat food (i.e. It is completely useless!). I am assuming that this is an issue with the sensor for the door or a software malfunction. I purchased the Black Ice version of this microwave, which is very sleek and fits perfectly with my other Black Ice appliances. The fan is quite loud, even on the low setting, and often makes a metallic clanking noise. Other than that it worked well for the year it would actually turn on. I am extremely disappointed with this expensive Whirlpool microwave purchase. If you must have this microwave, purchase the extended warranty!

Replaced the 15 year old Whirlpool that came with the house. Very attractive and much more functional. The sensor feature actually works fairly well. Interior is much larger than the oven it replaced which was an unexpected bonus.

The microwave is fairly large, larger than my previous Over-the-range. On the other hand, it does a great job at heating, and does it so that we had to adjust our heating times to compensate. The options on the control panel are numerous, and we have yet to try them all. Definitely worth the purchase.

Waveguide is damaged and they do not make them so they refuse to cover the cost of a new one as they consider this one not replaceable. They have recalled or quit making a certain model similar to this one, perhaps due to the same reason. My suggestion is not to purchase this product.
