this unit has so much space for the price! the stainless is easier to clean than other ss products i've had. as other reviewers have said, it is VERY loud! buzzing and whirring all day long. the freezer does grate when you open it, and you have to pull out the upper drawer. there is condensation around the ice maker, which sometimes drips, or other times freezes. I can live with these issues, tho the noise is driving my hubby crazy. don't know if i'd buy it again. the space almost makes up for the other issues!

After reading some negative reviews about the ice maker leaking/dripping, I paid very close attention to the instructions regarding running water through it to get all the air out of the water & ice maker supply lines. I followed the instructions to the "t" and am having issues with the ice maker building up ice around the seal. It isn't a major problem now, more of an inconvenience. If it turns into a major issue, I will update the review. On the positive side, it is a very attractive fridge and I am glad we went with this model and not the counter-depth to give us more space. The shelving lay-out is great and very easily customizable for what you would want/need. Unlike other reviewers, I haven't had an issue with ice flying everywhere, but I guess that's because I know to keep my cup close to the point where ice comes out (common sense much?). If it wasn't for the ice maker issue this would get a resounding 5 stars, but I'm going to see what happens with this issue and if Best Buy and/or Whirlpool will need to get involved.

Nice unit overall, but I don't remember a unit being this loud since my childhood. I know it isn't just my unit as we have had it replaced due to the door being damaged during delivery and the previous unit was also loud. The ice maker is located inside the refrigerator compartment, and there is a rubber seal that gets full of condensation and then drips on occasion.

Went with this product because it matched the other appliances in a new home. The product looks nice, has huge doors, and lots of storage space. Looks great in the kitchen. BUT....it's a noisy piece of machinery! Various fans, water pumps, etc. turn on constantly, and there is no doubt that they're on! Also...the big issue is with the water/ice dispenser. It leaks constantly and pools on the tray. When you open the door...SPLASH!...all over the floor and down the front of the fridge. Unacceptable. Tech is scheduled to come look at it, but research reveals that this is an ongoing problem that Whirlpool has yet to address.

Bought this for our new house. Delivered, installed, and setup by BestBuy's contract shipper. Very professional, no problems here but your miles may vary. The fridge is great! Very nice layout and capacity for my family. The compressor noise is not as bad as some make it. In our large open kitchen, it's noticeable if you listen to it or when dead silent at night. Ice and water is good, although I would give the water double the recommended initial run through to get rid of the plastic/filter taste. So far so good at 1 month. We will see how long it will hold up.

Have only had the refrigerator for a few days, but so far it is great. I have never had a French door and wasn't sure if it was the right decision, but it works out fine. I have no issues at all. Very large in refrigerator and freezer. Good size compartments. Love the shelf that retracts for taller items. Ice maker is largest I have seen for "in the door" and very easy to get in and out.

About 4 years ago, we replaced our smaller side by side with a bigger one. There were still no room for a lot of groceries. We found this one Open-box and it was a great deal. We had to buy it. I was amazed at the room the freezer had and the room in the top is very spacious. It is of good quality, which is something to expect from Whirlpool. I love my new fridge. I will not own another side by side fridge. The French Door has spoiled me.

This is a beautiful roomy refrigerator. I find that it keeps cheeses, lunch meats and lettuce much better than any refrigerator than I have ever had in my 70 years. Love the roomy bottom freezer and the ice and filtered water in the door is convenient and tastes good. Before I bought I saw that some said that the water drips after the lever is no longer pressed so I just tried switching it back to the ice mode and never had a problem. No drips either way. I also love all the door shelf space. All in all worth the money.

I love my Whirlpool Refridgerator. It's very spacious - different departments for fruit/vegetable/meats. It works very well including ice maker. Haven't had any problems. Yes I will recommend this to someone.

This refridgerator has all the bells and whistles for a high end fridge without high end cost.

This is the best refrigerator we have ever owned. It replaces a GE Profile box that was trouble. This fridge works perfectly and has plenty of space to store everything we have in very convenient places. Some people complained about the noise. Ours is on a wood floor and is extremely quiet. We have never run out of ice and we use lots of ice. Also love the LED interior lighting. With 10 lights, there are no dark spaces. I highly recommend this fridge to everyone.

I exchanged a side by side by this refrigerator and absolutely love it. I didn't think I would like the freezer on the bottom but it has so much room and is easier to get to the food than a side by side. The only thing I would change about this refrigerator is the meat and cheese drawer. I would make them separate so that you wouldn't have to open both doors in order to get to it. I like how you can get to the crispers by just opening either the left or right door.

the styling is very nice, and the compartments control the food temps very well. I love the extra lighting inside which is much better placed than any of the other brands models I looked at in the store. I am very pleased with my purchase.

We are really pleased with this refrigerator. Has an incredible amount of space in the refrigerator section as compared to then freezer section. Freezer is a little smaller but sufficient for us. Measure water is great. Fill a cup with ice then set the measured volume of water and push then button. Fills the cup precisely. Nice feature. Stainless exterior looks great. Wipe it down with a ss wipe and it lasts for weeks.

This is a great fridge. My wife and I bought it to go in our new home and we could not be happier. The easy to use buttons on the water/ice dispenser makes it so my children can easily get drinks on their own. The ice maker is tucked in the door to create space, and space is one thing this fridge has a lot of. Everything fits in it with room to spare. The drawer in the freezer is easy to keep organized and accessible.

This is a great Refrigerator. It is so roomy and easy to access all the areas in the top section. The Freezer is large and keeps everything frozen perfectly. The temperature settings are factory set and no need to guess what to put them at. We especially like the sliding shelf drawer for cheese and cold cuts. It keeps them at the perfect temperature. Our soft drinks and beer are also chilled to a pleasing temperature. We love it so for. Only had it about a month but glad we bought this size and model.

I am impressed with the refrigerator. Not only is it roomy it is also very quiet. The icemaker and water dispenser is an extra for me.
