This is one of my favorite games. It has a great selection of WWE Superstars. Great music and graphics. You can make your own finisher and put it with your created person. This is a very good game. The new inferno match is awsome. It is the best WWE game I've played.

the game has added a few new features like create a finisher which is kind of neat, but you only select moves to link together into a finisher chain..you can not literally make your own finisher. also for once i wish they would make a career mode for female characters so my fiance would get more enjoyment out of the game...she wasnt to thrilled about playing rey mysterio and her creating a character that is female is still pointless since you can do career with females yet. hopefully one day they will realize they have female wrestlers for a reason, and not just to look at. they have the moves to fight, give them their own career, maybe even a shot to wrestle against some guys or something since i know there isnt a full roster of females. i think they would pull in more gamers (especially girls) with a new feature/mode like that. it would be nice to team up with my fiances created character even if it doesnt go by real rules like the shows but it would still be fun if the option was there. that isnt really a gripe about this game, but all the previous games as well. this game lacks true depth, and seems easy, also i miss the locker room of old and the customization options. the create a wrestler is still as good as ever but i was disapointed with the different career modes available. they took a few steps forward, and a few steps back, still not what it could be. it is worth a rental but not worth buying in my opinion. still think SvsR2008 was better

I have read the other reviews and I have to say that I, too, have been a wrestling 'mark' (fan) since I was a kid. I have played every wrestling game under the sun from Wrestlemania on NES to TNA IMPACT on PS3 and I have to say that SvR 2009 appears to be the best wrestling game in a LONG TIME (including the garbage that was SvR 2007 & 2008). Let's be fair to TNA IMPACT...it is a GOOD game, but it's no SvR. It is a great beginning for the MIDWAY/ TNA wrestling series, though. Now, if you haven't got it, go to your nearest GAMESTOP OR EBGAMES and get your SvR DEMO for PS3. It's a great 'teaser' that gives you 4 characters (HBK, Triple H, Matt & Jeff Hardy). The load times are non-existent and the gameplay is tight. Controls are quick to pick up and the graphics are good. There is a little collision detection (A HUGE issue with SvR 2007 & 2008), but it only occurred once during umpteenth plays of the demo. Unfortunately, only normal match types (Single & Tag) are available, but what do your expect from a demo? The Tag Teams are the crown jewel or this game and the demo showcases this well. If you are a wrestling and wrestling video game fan...pick this up ASAP (and if you don't play...get it for your little brother/ sister to play...it will be like watching WWE Live)

This game is gonna be huge just like it is every year. Some of the new features in this game are gonna be the new tag team controls, the entrance animation, and the create a finisher. This game is a must have for any crazy wrestling fanatic.

This game is one of the best games on the Playstation 3. If you are a WWE fan, this game is a must have! I would highly recommend it to anyone that likes wrestling at all! There are a lot of different exhibition matches to play. The career mode and the Road to Wrestlemania mode never get old. This game has great replay value! Definitely worth buying!!!

I was impressed with the graphics in this game just like every year. The tag team finishers are awesome and being able to store a signature move instead of a "skill" I guess you'd say, is way better. This way you can store your first special and then when you build up another you can make it a more realistic finale by leading into your finisher with your signature. The storylines, however, are very short. And there are only a few superstars you can do it with. You got HHH, CM Punk, Y2J, Undertaker, John Cena, and then there's the ONLY co-op story mode of Batista and Rey Mysterio which can also be played solo. So if you are an Edgehead or a fan of HBK or any of the other many superstars in the game, you can't do a story with them. I guess its a sacrifice they had to make to create more unique stories for each guy instead of using the same random cut scenes like the previous game, so hopefully they add some new storylines in the downloadable content when they get that going. Overall it's an awesome game. If you like wwe games I highly doubt this will let you down. I would definitely give it 5 stars if there were more storylines, so we'll see when the DLC comes out if there will be some expansion to that part!

I Love This Game. It's fun, it's easy and it's packed. The only problem is that when I've managed to complete all the RTW's I can imagine becoming quite un-interested with it until we get the DLC anyway. Hopefully along with new superstars, THQ will be able to give us new RTW storylines and arenas to keep us occupied with the DLC until the next installment. This type of thing will also allow THQ to give us a lot more to the game with constant updates instead of trying to put as much on the disc as possible before release date. Really interesting story mode. This time, it's wrestler specific, so the story mode is much more fleshed out. You will probably get most enjoyment out of this mode. There is create a finisher mode, which I previously thought had a lot of potential. But after playing with it for a few hours, I realized that the mode is really limited. Based upon what moves you pick in the first few steps, the rest of the steps become more and more limited in terms of what moves you can add. So you can't really create that many amazing looking finishers. If this mode had received more attention, I definitely would have given one more star to the game.

SVR is back and better than ever. With improved tag-team matches and the new "create a finisher" option, there's nothing you can't do! Graphics are better this time around, and I can't stop playing this game. If you're a fan of WWE, then you should definitely get this, hands down.

Well, To All The THQ Fans I Really Would Agree To By This Game Because, 1. Good Graphic's, Can Play Up To 6 Player's Online. 2. Good Quality (Specially If You Got PS3, Or 360, Or Mabe A WII.) 3. Great Signature Move's. 4. Their Will Be A Contest Hold Up When The Week's Go Past You Must Have A 360 Or Playstation 3. 5. Its Beautiful, And Creative. It's Gonna Smash TNA Impact.
