- A: AnswerHello RockyZ, The RIG 900 Max with Dolby Atmos (for Xbox or Windows 10/11) will not work on the PS5 because of the way PS5 is routing the 3D audio. From the Dolby site: To enable Dolby Atmos on your PS5, go into Settings > Sound Audio > Audio Format (Priority) > and select Dolby Atmos to game in Dolby Atmos on HDMI devices such as soundbars, TVs or home theater systems. The key there is "HDMI" devices, like soundbars. It will not output Dolby Atmos audio via USB-a or USB-C connections to PS5. Our RIG 900 Max connects via USB-A, so the Dolby Atmos for Headphones with RIG 900 Max still only applies to Xbox and Windows 10/11 PCs. Thank you for your interest in RIG gaming audio from Nacon.

- A: AnswerHello mintzeyy, The RIG 900 Max does not need the full charging station nearby to play wirelessly. The USB-A wireless transmitter that is plugged into the multi-function base station can be removed by sliding it in a horizontal plane to remove it from the base. Be careful not to pull up on it as it may bend the USB plug. Then the wireless transmitter can be plugged into your console or PC for wireless connection with the headset and the charging base station can be placed anywhere you like. This transmitter operates on lag-free 2.4Ghz digital RF wireless. It corresponds to the "Game" setting in the RIG 900 Max dual-wireless settings. When you press the top button on the left earcup, it will cycle through "Dual" (both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth), "Game" (just 2.4GHz via wireless transmitter) or "Bluetooth" (for just Bluetooth). If you don't want to use Bluetooth at all, set it to "Game". When it is set on Dual, you can use the transmitter for wireless connection to console or PC and still receive call notifications from a smartphone, but please note that will pause game audio. We hope that helps. Thank you for choosing RIG gaming audio from Nacon.

Got it for Starfield
Hands down the best premium wireless headset for the value and it has a charge base. It competes with headsets that are $350 but brings more features and is super comfortable. Bought it just to play Starfield. This headset shines in every aspect, materials, comfort, lightweight, build quality, sound quality, and only lacks a little bit in Bluetooth function. Bluetooth allows you to get notifications and take calls while gaming on Xbox but you can't mx in music. No big deal for me because I enjoy the sounds of the game. And the sound is amazing with Dolby Atmos. This headset also has flip to mute and a volume control wheel that doubles as game/chat balance for Xbox. It doesn't have active noise cancellation like the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro. That headset costs an extra $100!. It bullies it in every other category. This headset has the best soundstage and ease of use compared to any headset that is within $250. The charge base with separate USB wireless adapter isn't even available in the Stealth Pro or any SteelSeries. I would pay $350 for this headset if that’s what it was sold for. I love everything about it, the price, lightweight, great build quality and materials, durability. This beats every other gaming headset by a mile.

Overall not bad
Overall not a bad headset. Delivers a great quality sound No connection issues (used on Xbox series x and pc) Now for the improvement: The way it adjusts to my head size is not the best I feel more pressure on the top of the my ears vs the bottom. When you pick it up from the charging dock you need to flip it 180 degrees. I feel the the way I take off and on the headset should be the way I dock it.

Great Headset, App Needs Update
I would rate this headset a 5 star but there are 2 things holding it back, and one's not advertised to do as such which is okay but I would have liked this to be a feature. The one that is not advertised is the Dual mode for Bluetooth and USB. It does as it's worded, but i would like to have audio from my tiktok doom scrolling while having my headset connected to the USB and be able to hear both. The other thing that gripes me is the RIG 900 NAVIGATOR app on Google Play. It's zoomed in to the point where you only see about half the settings and you can't scroll down on the page. I cas see the words Mic Monitoring but I cannot get to the actual slider to adjust it.
