- A: AnswerThere is no dedicated rear view camera released with the Q800 Pro. Q800 Pro is merely an upgraded F800 Pro — they share the same rear view camera (1080p)

Q: QuestionCan this work as astand alone or do I need the front cam for this work?(6 answers)
A: AnswerYou need the front camAnswered by anon
- A: AnswerIt's a durable USB cable (approximately 24 feet long) with a right angle tip for the front camera and a straight tip for the rear camera. This cable is F800 specific. It's thin enough so that you can squeeze it easily inside your car's frame to hide it when you run it from the front camera to the rear. The maximum length, it's the cables length itself (approx 24'), you cannot cut/shorten/or enlarge it. 24' should be long enough for even large SUV or Suburbans. For most small cars you will have to fold or roll a lot of the excess cable and hide it at a certain spot within your car's frame.

Solid Rear Dash Cam
Overall this is a great camera and has been in constant use for 1.5years through south Texas heat. Never overheats. 1080p image is sufficient for most instances where proof is required. We paired this with a Thinkware Q800 Pro (pictured) and it has been great. The rear camera is mounted to the rear glass and is hardly noticeable in the rear view mirror, which is nice. It's about 60% of the size of the main unit up front. Looking to pickup another set for one of our other vehicles. Took off a star because the app used by Thinkware is a little cludgy and requires connecting via wifi. Pretty common these days though.

I LIKE IT ALOT
I chose this camera after reading many reviews on dash cameras. I installed it and used the cigarette lighter plug for power the first few days until the weekend when I had the time to hard wire it. Installation was super simple and including the installation of the rear camera. The instructions could be a little more detailed showing how to navigate the camera operation and playback. I like the blinking light that is visible through the windshield while in parking mode. I'm am going to put a switch on the always hot power wire so that I can turn it off while parked at home and recording is not necessary. Overall, I am very happy with this camera.

Great camera
Great quality picture with the Thinkware rear camera and Thinkware app. The only problem is that when you’re looking at it in real time it’s reversed. But all makes of cameras are the same.
