ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass Screen for Apple iPhone 6 or 6s: Protect your device's display from scratches and skin oils with this durable tempered glass screen. Designed for ease of use, the screen is extra thin and smooth for optimal touch sensitivity.
A: The Glass is not very thick so I would think that it would work with the Defender series case, but obviously if you don't remove the built in plastic screen protector from the Otterbox, you will have 2 layers of protection on the screen. I don't know how that would affect the operation of the touch screen. I had an Otterbox Defender on an iPhone 4 a few years ago, and the plastic screen protector got a few scratches that I couldn't clean off. I took the plastic piece out of the Otterbox, applied an Invisible Shield protector to the phone, and put the Otterbox back on. It worked great. I don't know why you couldn't do the same with the Glass model. In fact, most of the Defender cases that we have owned for our iPhones have left a slight unremovable ring on the front screen of the phone where the cutout is for the speaker and camera at the top. Using the Invisible Shield under the Otterbox would actually protect against that.
Q: Do the screen protectors come with a warranty?
A: Maybe if you beg them to but they are not suppose to. You are suppose go to the website and order a new one and pay for shipping
Q: If i buy this online can i take it to a Best Buy store to have it installed?
A: $7 to install, but if they mess it up they put a new one on it. Took them three times to get mine on without dust under it. The zagg glass cracks when you remove it. Worth the extra $7 for Best Buy to install. zagg warranties it. But they would have to mail you a new one.
Q: Do fingerprints show up a lot?
A: No. Now that you mention it I don't see any fingerprints. The screen is so clear
Q: my zagg glass broke and has chipped. How do I remove it ?
A: The screen is surprisingly very easy to remove. If you can get a fingernail under a corner, then you can slowly lift the glass right off. If you're unable to get under with a fingernail, a guitar pick, or credit card, anything else that is plastic and thinkthat could be wedged (preferably at a corner, will instantly break the bond when the air gets between the glass and your phone screen. Then you just slowly lift it away. If any bits don't come off, which would be surprising, I'm sure that one could use anything plastic with little pressure to ease it off. It is only sealed with an air tight grip, no adhesive whatsoever. I was shocked at how easy it was to take off. I've seen people use razor blades or small knifes to get the corner to start to lift, but for the price I paid for my phone, there's no way I would do such a thing. If you are afraid to damage your phone, just drop by BB, they will gladly take it off for you at customer service!
Q: Do they guarantee the phone screen if this installed on the phone?
A: Yes. You just need to request a replacement and then when it comes in, they give you the instructions to return your current one (removing it from your phone, attaching it to an insert for the envelope, and mailing it back with the paperwork included in your new product).
Q: If I buy the glass protector for the front, do I need an additional case?
A: Yes and no... If you want the back of the phone (iPhone6 is aluminum) to be protected put a case on it. This is a single sheet of glass designed for the front of the phone. This is also case friendly, it's made to be paired with a case, but if you don't want one it's perfectly fine without it.
Q: Will Best Buy replace the phone if the screen cracks and the protector doesn't?
A: Probably not. The screen protector is supposed to protect the screen from scratches. Not blunt force trauma.
