A: why would bestbuy sell a "test unit"
A: Check it out for yourself see if you like it and if you don't, just return it during the return period. The reviews I saw were pretty positive check out Dave2Ds review on this laptop on YT (2022 Asus Zephyrus G14 Review - AMD POWER!!). But no matter what laptop you get your going to get negative reviews because no laptop is perfect and everyone has a different opinion, so I think its really based on personal opinion, so see if you like it for yourself if you don't, you can always return it.
A: The system ships with 16GB of RAM, but 8GB of RAM is remove-able. You could remove it and replace it with a 32GB stick, for instance, to have a total of 40GB (32GB stick + 8GB soldered)

A: There are several versions (as well as different colors) coming later. The 6800S will probably cost 1900 w/o anime matrix.

A: I have the 2021 model and was able to install a 32GB stick of RAM for a total of 40GB, with no issues.
