Wish I bought a Brother laser printer sooner
||Posted .Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. If you typically print low volume and/or sporadically, sometimes months without printing, this printer will always be ready. I'm sure if you print high volume and regularly it will handle it as well. Those inkjet printers can't handle long periods of time without a print before the printhead clogs/dries up. Just stop buying HP printers, they're practically disposable printers. As for the HL-L2395DW, I don't use nearly all the features. It will print wirelessly if you're on the same network as it. When you print it wakes it up from sleep seamlessly. Non manual duplex printing is a super nice to have. The only bad thing I can say is that it has a big footprint, which I would ALWAYS make room just to have a printer like this. Also, I guess the starter toner is slightly off from the 700 page estimation but I guess that depends on the resolution you print at. I probably will never have to replace the drum unit in this just because of how infrequent I print. Save yourself the headache and money and buy a Brother laser printer

Brother printers & tech support are great!
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This printer marks my second one from Brother. My first, an MFC model network printer has worked quite well from the get go. This new one is for my wife's office and located immediately next to her desk. It unpacked easily and was not damaged ( although it's shipping box was, so good packaging saved the day!). Since a CD with printer software was included and her computer has no drive, I went online to get the drivers. This was the only glitch...the model wasn't listed on the website prompting a call to customer support. After a fairly brief wait, a Brother tech rep located in Jamaica got on the call and was quite professional in pointing me to the correct drivers and staying online until the installation was completed. I used tech support once before when my other printer lost it's connection. They were just as effective then. The tech support is offered for the life of the machine and is one of the reasons I chose Brother again. I highly recommend the laser printers whether the simple one like this or the more complex like the MFC series. Oh..They operate and printer very well! Getting a good deal from Best Buy with the use of earned Reward Points was frosting on the cake.

Get this printer!
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Get this printer by Brother. The wife and I are happy with our purchase. Our last Brother printer model MFC 8860DN non wireless, purchased back in 2008 lasted 13 years before it broke down. just installed it today and the printer is up and running. Takes 10- 15 minutes to set it up. This model has fast printing. Great quality prints. Simple set-up of the printer and was asked to upgrade the firmware through the lcd screen. Print, copy and scan printer works just as advertised. Best Buy, thank you for your service and fast shipping. On Track delivered the product 1 day before delivery date. High five!

Q: QuestionIt mentions that a CD-Rom is included for installation. I do not have a CD-Rom on my computer. Is there another way to install this on my computer without the CD-Rom?
Asked by confused26.
- A:Answer Dear Confused26; This is a common question. You can visit the Brother website at https://www.brother-usa.com/ for software downloads. I do this all the time. Updates happen each day, so opening the box and pulling out an older CD isn't your best bet. Download it, install, it, and enjoy. Best of luck, Consultant Brian

Q: QuestionHow does the paper feed into this printer? Is there an automatic feeder? Is there a paper tray?
Asked by Sd.
- A:Answer There is no auto feed for copies. You lay on glass flat panel one page at time. Printing is automatic with paper tray on bottom.

Q: QuestionWhat does 'all in one' mean? Does it have a scanner?
Asked by Inna.
- A:Answer yes, print copy and scan

Q: QuestionCan I copy a legal size piece of paper?
Asked by firstmate.
- A:Answer YES; the paper tray has a button towards the back of the paper tray that when depressed allows the back of the paper tray to be extended to accommodate legal size paper. When the tray is placed back in the bottom of the printer it actually extends out the back of the printer slightly. It sounds a little funky but works quite well. The only drawback to the HL-L2395DW is the copy/scan glass on the top of the printer will NOT accommodate legal size paper. This is not a problem for me as I virtually never use legal size paper (as in once every few years). I hope this helps!

Q: QuestionIs this printer compatible with Mac Pro Sierra OS 10.13.3 by USB and Wireless?
Asked by RWC68.
- A:Answer I answered this a couple days ago. I'm using a iMac using OS 10.13.3. At that time I was using usb. Now I'm using wi fi. It connected within min's with no problems. I'd recommend the Wi Fi connection because once it can access the internet it get a firmware update and more functions are available. No issues with Sierra.
