This monitor has great resolution, astonishingly thin, has 2 HDMI ports. The display is crispy clear with both my windows laptop and macbook. The power cord is same as Dell laptop charger. The stand was already attached to the monitor, so I only had to unwrap it. Loving it so far.

Best Monitor I've Ever Owned!

Can't say enough how much I've loved using this Monitor! If you are looking, it's 100% worth the money and you will be very happy.
PROS:
- The look and design of the monitor is gorgeous. Very thin/sleek and the matte-like silver on it makes it look very modern.
- The thin bezels on this are incredible! They really nailed the infinity type look of this monitor.
- Functionally, it does not skip a beat. No lag on my computer work, movies, or gaming. Really you could use this as a TV and it would work great.
- The Two HDMI inputs is a great piece so you can switch from using a laptop to a desktop or gaming console. It even auto-identifies what device is on and uses that input.
- I have been using this with my Nintendo Switch and it has worked phenomenally. Just have to use headphones is all.
- It compliments my gaming desktop tower really well! Works smoothly and is easy to read emails/news on or watch videos.
- The HDR component makes images really pop. Although, you have to dive into the settings to turn it all on.
CONS:
- No speakers. This is fine for me as it makes it thinner but some people might desire them.
- There are no mounts on the back or even an option to take the stand off. Makes it look more elegant and modern but you just could never mount it.

This monitor fulfilled my expectations! It looks great on my desk and has a great picture. The bezel-less design looks great as well, it’s one of the best I’ve found for this price point.

Out of the box wow factor. After a few minor adjustments, this monitor packs quite the picture quality. I was amazed how clear and crisp the colors were. I know it’s just a monitor, but the setup was super easy. Plug in power cord, connect HDMI cable and there you go! Buttons are on the bottom right of the monitor. Adjust the settings to your desire and you’ll be pleased with the picture. The refresh rate is 60Hz, which for a computer isn’t too bad.
Pros:
Lightweight
Quality
2 HDMI capable
Adjustable base
Thin frame
Cons:
No speakers – Not a deal breaker.
Overall – I highly recommend this! At the price, it offers a great quality picture.

My initial reaction to placing this monitor on my desk and hooking it up was how amazingly bright and crisp the display is. For reading code, text, and documents, it is very easy on the eyes, and it will make a good companion to my iMac 27" monitor. Attached to a Nvidia GT1030 video card provided better performance with Minecraft, No Mans Sky, and Civ V, than I originally expected. I felt that if I had a better performance video card, this monitor would easily have been able to handle it. That being said, my personal opinion is that this would be best served as a monitor for a stockbroker, programmer, writer, or anyone who needed multiple displays on a single monitor. The anti-glare coating makes this a great monitor for locations that have a lot of windows or lighting behind the user. Too bad I can't just fold this up and stick it in my backpack.
The menu controls are very intuitive and I was able to adjust the settings to fit my needs without referencing any documentation. While the monitor itself IS very thin at 1.14 inches, the base extends another 4 inches. Hey Dell, if you're going to tout this as an ultra-thin monitor, at least provide a way to shift it closer to the back of the monitor base. While speaking of the base - the monitor can be tilted, but not swiveled or rotated.
There are 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, and a 3.5mm audio port, but nothing else. I do appreciate having the audio port in a convenient spot without having to plug speakers into the back of the computer itself.
Movies and videos looked amazing on this monitor and I didn't notice any ghosting.
Overall, I get the feeling that Dell intended this monitor for use in a business or high productivity environment. I'm certainly considering making this my primary monitor for software development and technical writing needs. However, I am taking a star off for the lack of mobility in the base design.

Having only ever used LED/LCD tv's as pc monitors this Dell QHD was a real eye opener for me.
The design is sleek and classy making it a looker whether it's on or off. Colors really pop and the details are incredible! This thing makes me want to go out and buy some 4k movies! The dual HDMI connections will let me connect both my pc and home security camera system to the same monitor. Controls on the bottom edge of the monitor took some getting used to but is easy to use.
If your in the market for a QHD monitor this Dell 27" offers a sleek design and a great screen that has to be on your list and in my opinion it should be at the Top!

Sleek, stylish and a great picture. Display is crisp and although not true UHD, it’s about as good as you can get without significantly increasing the price. 60Hz refresh rate might disappoint serious gamers but then again, this isn’t a $1000 monitor. You’d be very hard-pressed to find a better monitor in the sub-$400 price range.
A:Depends on the Mac, most Mac's support either DP or miniDP (TB/TB2/TB3), given that this monitor only supports HDMI inputs you will need a TB/TB2/TB3 to HDMI converter, on my older 2011 MBP, it would only support QHD resolution with native DP output, whenever I tried to use a miniDP/TB to HDMI converter the mac would only support FullHD resolution.
My other MBP's 2015/2017 didnt have any issues when using a TB2->HDMI or TB3->HDMI adapter cables a such could support QHD resolutions.
A:The top of the screen is about 17" tall. It is not adjustable in height, but can be tilted so the screen angle is different. It was perfect for my desk, however you could also make it higher by stacking books or something similar underneath it if desired.
A:There is a window at the side of my monitor and it does not bother it at all. The surface is matte finish and it is very bright. I could not guarantee the clarity in a window , but I did look from the side and I could still see the picture.
