Q: whats the difference in hard drive size between 500GB and 1TB?
A: ON THE PAVILLION SLIMLINE THE DVD DRIVE IS ON THE FRONT SIDEWAYS AND, ALTHOUGH I WAS SKEPTICAL, EASY TO USE. I AM ONLY AN INTERMEDIATE USER BUT SO FAR I HAVE FOUND MY 4GB-500GB HARD DRIVE MODEL GREAT.
Q: Will I need to purchase a wireless plan to use LAN?
A: This HP PC supports both a wireless and standard Ethernet connection which will require you to purchase an internet plan in order to use either networking options.

A: no
A: There are 3 hdmi ports
Q: Can this computer be hooked up to a touch screen monitor?
A: I don't see why not but it completely depends on the touchscreen monitor you are using. Check the monitor specs first. But this box comes with a full version of Win8 so it should support touch screens.
Q: Is it possible to order this computer with windows 7 operating system?
A: No. It comes with 8 and has an 8 recovery partition. You would have to wipe 100% and install your own 7.
