Simply Outstanding

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Set upI have had issues getting wifi coverage to my many Ring cameras and echo devices for some time. Frontier sold me some mesh extenders that really never made a difference. However now that I bought and set up this Netgear Orbi system, I actually have over 100 internet (both upload and download) through my home..inside and out. This system was easy to install and I feel it is simply a outstanding product to get internet working like it should throughout your home.

Internet access across in your home, no much more

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5These are good, but are not great mostly because it is its own network vs. an extension of a "smarter" network. What I mean by this is that if you run DLNA or network specific configuration on a router that feeds this, it will not extend your existing network, rather it will become its own. I am not super technical on how this works but that was a disappointment. Otherwise, if all you are trying to do is get Network to every nook and cranny if your home with no bells and whistles, this will do it!

mostly very good, not a lot of horsepower

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Set it up and go. Lots of self managment , not a ton of bandwidth. Not for pro gamers or 5 person office good for the house. This is an AC1600, most WiFi routers have more potential bandwidth. But not the coverage of this system wit its three nodes. WARNING! Has a yearly subscription for Armor security service. -one star off... Overall a good purchase.

ORBI so easy it's like magic!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Signal qualityI recently got the new Orbi 4 Satellite Dual Mesh Wi-Fi system, and all I can say is wow! Setup - Scan a QR Code download the App and you are literally online in a few minutes! The App is so easy to use this is what I would buy if I were not savvy about home routers and extenders! The only thing I wish is that you didn't have to have a net-gear account to use them. Form - Factor - These look like art! they are so small and unobtrusive they blend in, my house guests don't even know they are wifi units, Some people even thought the were stylish - speakers! Use - I set these up on 2 floors of my McMansion, and one near my outdoor living space. I couldn't believe how strong the signal was. I can go anywhere in my house and patio and get an amazing signal, also I have my WiFi camera's hooked up, they just work! Slight Con: Info Armor doesn't work behind my residential gateway. I feel this is an important feature, however it's not a deal killer, I am not to enthusiastic about the Bit-Defender system anyway, a lot of my accounts with sub-domains were blocked or out-right couldn't connect, I do not recommend installing bit-defender, it's a pain to install on my Mac, and harder to remove. If you want to get a great WiFi system look no further than this bundle, they are ascetically pleasing to look at and small enough to place all over the house! This is the system for you if you love getting online but hate the bulky appearance of most home-WiFi systems. I used a WiFi scanner app to determine my coverage, and I got almost 100% signal everywhere, I don't have one in my garage but I still got a great signal! I received ORBI as part of NETGEAR’s First Look Review Program, and have reviewed other NetGear products and I would have to say this is by far the best one I have reviewed.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5We purchased this because we live in a two story house and have issues with our speed and connection in certain areas in the house. This immediately solve the problem. We now get top speeds everywhere. In addition, we have the ability to control the internet use of the kids. Outstanding buy.

Q: QuestionDoes this broadcast only one SSID for both 2.4 and 5ghz and switch as needed or does it have separate connections for them? Also do the satellite connect to the router only or can the satellites piggy back of each other without degraded signal?
Asked by clay.
- A:Answer It is only one SSID with both 2.4 and 5ghz and it seamlessly switches between the two depending on how far or close you are from a satellite. The satellites connect to each other and slightly degrades the signal. I notice that satellites closer to the router are more often on 5ghz, opposed to the satellite I have in the basement that shows a 2.4ghz connection.

Q: Question"Orbi works with your Internet service provider and is recommended for homes with download speeds up to 50 Mbps." "Super-fast Wi-Fi up to 1.2 Gbps keeps up with your family's streaming, gaming, and surfing needs." So, is it 50 Mbps or 1.2 Gbps?
Asked by okay.
- A:Answer All depends upon your Internet Service provider and what speed you have purchased. I have Spectrum 220 MB/s and I get 220 MB/s
