QuestionWhat is the difference between the SB6183 vs SB6190...which the 6190 has 32x8 and the 6183 has 16x4...does this really make a difference? Also, which model is newer...does that make a difference, as far as being out dated.

- Answer Yeah the major difference in SB6190 and SB6183 is that SB6190 has 32x8 channel bonding whereas SB6183 has 16x4 cable bonding. This means SB6190 will be compatible to work with speed tiers of upto 600 Mbps whereas SB6183 will be compatible to work with speed tiers of upto 300 Mbps

- Answer So far my SB6190 seems to be working very well, as for your question I can not answer honestly at the moment, I have only had this modem for three weeks. I apologize for this does not answer your question. My question for you is that I noticed on my modem that only two of the lights turn blue, the other two stay the original color. Is this normal? Everything seems to work very well.

QuestionLove the modem but the lights are too bright. I have to use a box.over it to sleep. This model does not allow to turn off the lights in configuration mode. Will there be a patch to give us the option to turn off the light?
