• A:Answer That would work only if you ISP provides you with two different IP address. For Comcast its an extra 7 to 10 dollars per month to make that available.

Q: QuestionIs there a way two connect a router ethernet port one on modem and add another router on ethernet port two. To have two routers in house so I do not overload the one router with so many devices being used at same time. Or heavy use of same router.

• A:Answer The Arris SB8200 is overkill for a 300 MB service and it is not listed on the authorized list from Spectrum. https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/compliant-modems-charter-network/ An appropriate DOCSIS 3.0 device should be more than adequate and save you significantly. Avoid anything with the highly problematic Puma 6 chipset such as the SB6190 or CM7000

Q: QuestionI have an Arris SURFboard wireless router and just purchased and Arlo Pro Security system that requires me to plug into the Arris. Problem is my CPI Security system is plugged into it the Arris -there is only one Ethernet female plug in. Any solutions?
