A:AnswerI don't know how large of a clump, but if it is the overflow from the kitty litter box it might because it picks up my dogs kibble. If you want to contact the company, they are really good at answering any questions. They helped me and responded the next day. Hope this helps you.
A:AnswerDon't let Bob go down stairs, you'll both be unhappy.
You can carry Bob from one floor to another. The app will save up to 3 maps, so save the original map before you move Bob to the new floor. Have Bob start with a fresh map on the fresh floor and all will work well. Unless you have another charging station on the new floor, Bob will complain that it can't charge once it's done cleaning. You can carry it back to the charger on the first floor—just make sure you save and switch the map back before you let Bob loose on the original floor.
A:AnswerThere was one day where my bob was completely dead. Try flipping it over and unscrewing the batter compartment and unplug the battery for a few minutes, then plug it back it. Make sure that your charging base has a green led light and make sure that the contact points on the bob and charging base are touching.
A:AnswerMine has trouble getting over heater vents in floor. Always getting caught up on it. Has problems with throw rugs also so I don’t think it will go over your floor transition.
A:Answeropen the bobsweep app, click on "map," then click the scissors icon, the click "Draw NoSweep Zones," instructions will pop up from there. It is a little cumbersome but you can change to a zone or a line by touching the red box/line after you start one. You can drag the blue dots at each point to move it. It can lock up on you where you cannot move it any more - in that case choose "save" or "change zone" and you'll be able to move it again - then switch to line or zone again depending on what you want to draw. Click "save" to save it. I drew a line where my kitchen rug meets my cabinets as Bob gets stuck there (Bob can fit under the cabinet toe kick but not if there is a rug there). This NoSweep line keeps him from getting wedged under the cabinet. I also drew a line at the threshold of two rooms to keep Bob from entering the 2nd room. Works great.
A:AnswerIt will go back and charge when the battery gets low. That said, It's got a lot of juice. I can have it clean my entire 1200 sq foot space and not even use half of its charge.
A:AnswerYes, I have deep shag and two dogs that shed and it cleans up the dog hair nicely. It will however leave clumps of the hair that you need to pick up as it doesn't vacuum all of the hair but rather gathers it together and sucks in the fine particle dirt but not the bigger clumps. Also, the main roller can get jammed if you have too much pet hair to clean up but it's an easy fix to remove the jammed up hair and let it carry on clening.
