- Answer It uses 2 seald lead acid batteries. Each battery is 12 volt 9 amp hour.

- Answer Hi Dave, good question. The display uses a 5 bar capacity indicator, and a "current load" graph. The battery is rated at 9 ampere hours, so that should bring it close to about 3 hours.

- Answer Depending on the wattage of the device it should work ok. Though if it's closer to the 900watt limit you'll only get a few minutes of use, but if it's lower on the usage (which I would think it can't use that much). You should have power in and outage for at least a half hour on the lower power draw side.

QuestionWill Mute a one time mute or will it stay muted after the power comes on and goes back off later? We don't ever need a buzzer in a ups period give me a hard on-off switch for it or leave it off the board already!

- Answer So there is a mute function but if there is a major fault the UPS will override the mute MUTE: This icon appears whenever the UPS is in silent mode. However, when there is a problem with the UPS, the alarm will still beep even in silent mode.

- Answer No. This is 110V only. You need to purchase one for your electrical needs of 220 volts fifty hertz, not 110 volts sixty hertz

QuestionPlease confirm. Is this a true UPS? Power is provided to the load from the onboard battery through an inverter and the utility power only charges the battery. As in there is NO transfer time on a loss of utility power. thanks

- Answer The power runs from the battery, it protects you against spikes and such, as well as continuous power on an outage. When the power goes out you will be glad you have it.

- Answer If turning on your bath fan causes issues, your circuit is overloaded. A bigger UPS can't help you. Tap a better circuit to use and then reevaluate your UPS need.

- Answer I really can't say, since I just bought it a little more than a month ago. I would say that they last 7 - 10 years. By that time you'll want to have the latest technology anyway. This UPS Backup is so much better that the one I had. It takes up less space standing upwards and it's easy to turn off the sound, if your battery dies on you. I couldn't turn off the sound on my last one when the battery had to be replaced. It drove me crazy and I had to take a Lunch break from my job and go and pick this one up. What an improvement!
