A:AnswerHuh? Generally, each new phone has a unique default number, unless you intentionally apply some other eligible and available number by special arrangements.
A:AnswerYou could ask Geek Squad to transfer you files from you existing model to your new purchase. You can have it done sametime that any programs you purchased installed by them too. This usually takes a day or two to be done & there maybe a cost for this too.
A:AnswerJust take your old PC to Geek squad when you purchase to new PC and they will transfer the data. They will also recycle your old PC if that is what you want.
A:AnswerBacking up???!!!
SO YES but the 'but' is a big one. Your inputs will be saved but probably not the programs. This is where a full dump to an external hard drive pays for itself. Not had an issue (knock on wood) but with the full auto back up its all there in the little flashing light box on my desk.
A:AnswerWhile the Geek Squad does a good job backing up data to either a new computer or to a thumb drive, I found that no passwords or bookmarks are backed up. You have to reestablish those passwords and bookmarks
A:AnswerWell, they say they can but my experience was they can't or won't unless you bring in all the CD's for the software applications. Then take 4 days to inform you otherwise.
A:AnswerDidn't work for me when my old ipad completely froze up and the Geek Squad couldn't resuscitate. Had to buy a new one, no credit for the old one.
A:AnswerYes. To open your documents, make sure you have compatible Office software on the Windows system. The transfer will not convert files; it will only transfer them from one device to another.
A:AnswerI had to leave my desktop for a week because Best Buy was busy. Defiantly worth the time. My hard drive crashed and they were able to save and transfer all of my files. Cost was $100.
A:AnswerYes, that's exactly what I did. I had an old toshiba laptop and they transferred all of my data to this external drive. I can now access it all using my Macbook Pro.
