QuestionDoes this 3 pack replace my router

- Answer Yes, the eero is intended to replace your existing router. One eero will be connected to your modem/internet connection. This will be the gateway eero and will create an eero wifi network. The other eero will connect to the gateway eero (either wired or wirelessly) and will broadcast the same wifi network. If you want to keep your existing router you can, just plug the eero into that router. In general it is advisable to put the eero to bridge mode in those cases.

QuestionI currently use a USB Modem to supply my ISP internet to my computer....can I use my USB modem to plug into your router?....does it have a USB port for that?

- Answer Hi Buddy. Thank you for your question! While the eero 6 router does have a USB-C port, it is only used for power. The gateway/primary eero can only connect to a modem via an Ethernet cable. I hope this information helps. Have a great day!

- Answer Hello JER! As long as the Brightspeed router has an ethernet port one of the eero can be connected to and get access to the internet, it should work fine. I hope this information helps, have a great day!

- Answer Yes, a modem or ONT is needed. An eero is not a modem. The eero requires one eero hardwired to an internet source via an ethernet cable. This will be the primary/gateway eero and it will create a wifi network. The other eero will connect to the gateway eero (wired or wirelessly) and will broadcast the same wifi network.

Questioneero 6 How can I 'restrict' or assign a device to a specific extender (I have 2 + the base) ? I have 15 devices. They crowd the closest extender, except 1 which chooses the furthest extender. Want restrict this important 1 to use the closer extender.

- Answer eero does have an option, client steering, which you can enabled, eero app->Settings->Network Settings. That option will have the eero suggest which access point a device should connect to, but it cannot require the device to comply. At the end of the day the device itself decides which access point to use.

- Answer Only a router, the third pack if for more house coverage vs the 2 pk. Not sure about WPS3, I had mine installed by my new internet company.

- Answer Yes it does. I have 1 GBPS coming into my home. And the wifi speeds i get is 590 mbps to as high as 637 mbps.
