- Answer Hi, Sc! The supplemental heat feature in this model is designed to add some additional heat to a small room. It is not recommended as the main source of heat in the home. ~Ashton

Questionhow many sq ft does it cover

- Answer We have ours in a 30'x12' portable at one end of the building which is approx 360 sq ft and it blows length wise almost all the way across the room. It definitely cools very well and very quickly in the immediate 250 sq ft area. It is easy to install and it is plug and play. It has a timer and the lowest setting feels cooler than what is indicated on the led.
