- Answer This only has HDMI and VGA ports so a cable/adapter that outputs one of those (probably HDMI) would be needed.

QuestionDoes this have an AUTO-sleep mode? The screen does blank out when the MacBook Pro does, but it is still on with white static and the indicator light stays white, not amber as described in the user manual.

- Answer Yes, my HP 27MQ does have AUTO-sleep mode. When I shut down my HP Z420, the screen blacks out and the indicator light goes to amber. I am running Linux Mint 20.3 on my HP.

QuestionHP documentation says warranty will not cover issues where screen is left on for long periods, yet monitor does not support auto sleep mode. Why doesn't this monitor have auto sleep mode? Its a real pain having to remember to turn off each time when done.

- Answer This monitor does have auto-sleep mode. When I shut down my HP Z420 workstation, the screen blacks out and the indicator light goes to amber, indicating auto-sleep mode.
