• A:Answer Thank you for the question. Tank printers don't have cartridges, and when the tanks are closed, the ink won't dry out. However, ink inside the printhead or ink delivery tubes may change viscosity with low use. To ensure the health of the printheads and ink delivery system, it's a good idea to print one page each week or so and keep the printer powered on at all times so that it can perform cleaning cycles when necessary.

• A:Answer What they mean by that, is the amount of ink in the tank is enough to last with average user, 2 years. compared to the smaller ink cartridges. Obviously if you print more than average, they wont last as long, but I can personally say I LOVE my printer.
