A:AnswerI think its quiet on carpet. I can watch tv with it going about the living room. On hard surfaces its quite noisy. And when it gets vacuumed out by the base its very loud. Like it would wake a sleeping baby. Or a person trying to sleep. I have 3 cats and 3 dogs. It ussually goes back to the base 3 times to empty itself when i set it to clean my main floor.
A:AnswerIt sure does! Plus is that the charging base also acts as a emptying base. So when the Roomba finished a cleaning session, it returns to base to empty out its contents into the base canister for easy cleanup!
A:AnswerYes it works, you’ll just have to turn it on by pressing the clean button every run. However you won’t be able to use the smarter features like scheduling, room recognition, keep out zones, clean zones or any other app features. Since your only using it to clean the whole floor offline, I highly recommend you save money and go with the Roomba i3 which does the whole floor as well and it’s less expensive. The features of the i7 can only be appreciated if you have internet.
A:AnswerWe have a two story house and it works great down stairs. Completely mapped our whole 1st level. After it maps the rooms you can ask it to focus on a specific room if there is a mess you are trying ti clean. Love it!!
A:AnswerSuction power is comparable to a standard vacuum, it will pick up dust bunnies as well as crumbs or bits or cereal. I have found it to be a nice hand-free vacuum so that the Roomba will do my weekly/biweekly vacuuming for me, with me only having to clean under areas the Roomba can’t get under such as low furniture or into couch cushions. Otherwise it has enough suction power and coverage to do just as good of a job as I would've done myself with a upright vacuum.
A:AnswerIt takes a few cleaning sessions for the Roomba to map your home and learn it’s way around it. I have found that on round 3 of cleaning my whole apartment it learned to avoid the stationary furniture in my home, like my desk, couch and coffee table. Furniture that moves position each time you use it, such as a office chair or dining room chairs, may still get bumped into still because they don’t permanently stay in one position for the Roomba to always know where to avoid. In summary, it will still bump into things for know while it’s still learning where things are but it should bump less over time :)
