- Answer Lenovo's website states the IdeaPad Gaming 3 (15” AMD) Laptop supports USB-C 3.2 Gen 1. However, it must say it will also support "DisplayPort Alt Mode" for video out when connected to a Plug n Play video port and "USB Power Delivery 2.0 or 3.0" for pass-through charge. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device. The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station will require those two features and an installation of a driver for the VGA, Mic, and the stand alone HDMI port. Drivers are available on j5create website under the "Support" tab.

- Answer If your device supports Display Port over USB-C then you should not need to install anything. If it does not then the software simulates that functionality. You may not be able to find out if your device does this without trying it. I would talk to your IT team first though to see if there is a dock that they recommend.

- Answer No, the HDMI ports do not support v2.1. The maximum resolution is 3840 x 2160 @ 30Hz.

- Answer Yes, your HP EliteBook 845 G8 states you have "(2) USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C 10 Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort 1.4)", which makes your computer compatible with our Docking Station. The Dock will also require an installation of a driver for the VGA, Mic and stand alone HDMI ports for proper functionality. The rest of the ports are Plug n Play.

- Answer In order to charge any device connected you will need a power supply and cord to go from the power supply with a USB C on it to connect to the docking station. I usually buy a 65w power supply (wall wart) as that is enough power to charge most laptops.

- Answer No, you will need a USB-C power-brick (recommended 100W) or the JUP2290 100W PD USB-C Super Charger. Please make sure your computer supports "DisplayPort Mode" and "Power Delivery" over USB-C. - Answer We recommend using the JUP2290 (if that is correct) with a device that supports USB-C connection with Power Delivery features. We cannot guarantee other adapters will work with j5 products to connect to your iPhone. Cordially, j5.

- Answer It will only work with 1 monitor. I bought it and it did not work for my MacBook M1. You can't connect anymore than 1 monitor for this computer.
