- Answer Raquell, if You smart TV has a USB port that You can stick the transceiver into, then I don't see why it wouldn't be compatible. Hope that helps.

- Answer The battery is built into the keyboard. It recharges with the supplied USB cable. There is a micro USB port on the back edge of the keyboard nearly lined up with the green battery status lights.

- Answer My Logitech Illuminated Keyboard and Rollerball Mouse package has an installable feature which allows me to run the two devices through one antenna. This is helpful, because I am using my three other computer ports for other external devices.

- Answer No, this keyboard does not have a battery that you can replace. But I've owned several of these, and they will last, and recharge, for several years. Don't let that be a reason that you don't buy it!

- Answer Yes. It's not a communication wired device if that's what you're asking. It uses an extension cable from the USB port to bring the dongle into optimal range for communication. I really haven't tested it from any great distance but I don't think it has enough signal to communicate by wireless across a room for instance. It's somewhat limited to about the same distance as a wireless mouse.

QuestionI have been using this keyboard consistently for weeks, but now it won't work. When I turn it on, the red light in the battery section flickers on for one second and goes out. It's been lying in direct sunlight for hours to no avail. Can someone help?

- Answer The K 800 not a solar charged device. You need to have your paired device on and connected via usb to a small port on the top edge of the keyboard to charge it. My guess is if you plug it into a computer that's on via the USB charging cord it will recharge if the battery isn't toast from being overtaxed by not charging it. It takes several hours to recharge but should last for weeks with moderate use. You'll see a ladder pattern green light as it charges until it's charged.

Questioncan you turn the back lighting on and off?

- Answer Hi, You can manually adjust the backlighting by pressing the FN + F5 to decrease and FN + F6 to increase between 5 levels: 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. So, yes, you can turn the backlighting off and on. A reminder, after three hours of inactivity or if the keyboard is restarted, the backlighting level will return to automatic adjustment. QuestionHello, Are there compatible wireless mice that I can purchase that would be connected to the UBS that comes with this keyboard. I don't want to have to have another USB adapter in my laptop for the mouse.

- Answer Yes. Any recent Logitech wireless mouse ought to work. I connected an M570 wireless trackball mouse pretty effortlessly.

- Answer It is lit when locked. If you are looking at it from an angle, it may be hard to see. Put your head right over the Caps Lock key and you should see it bright green.

- Answer Probably yes, as long as you have the keyboard dongle and the mouse plugged into separate USB ports. The K800 communicates by wireless only.
