When the computer is boosting up, you hit the few button if I remember correctly, or maybe it's f8 and tell it to boot from usb. Then follow the on screen instructions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The usb should work fine, even with older windows 7 systems. I have installed it several times with usb on older PCs. There are also other ways to install windows 10. You can use an alternate computer with a dvd-rw drive to copy the files on to a blank dvd. Be sure to keep the product key as it will be required for product verification/authorization upon install. If you are still having problems installing windows 10, make sure you set the boot drive as priority in BIOS.
