A:AnswerI ordered the only CM1000 on BB website which doesn't really clarify if it's V2 or not. When I went to register it on Netgears website it came up as V2 which was great news. I'm pretty sure all the original ones have been sold out and the V2 are what you will get as long as ordering from a reputable company.
A:AnswerI think you would need the Wi-Fi extendor to do that ide ask around at best buy just dont ask the front counter people they don't educate themselves on products. They will say, " I dont know I guess". Like you work there dont you know someone who actually knows lazy boopkins. all they can do is take money and guess.
A:AnswerThe NETGEAR - 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem - Black is the modem I purchased and am using with my Cox service. Note that this unit does not support telephone service through Cox. If you have questions about Modem compatibility, Cox technical support can provide a link to supported modems and they were able to answer specific questions I had before making a purchase. I'd always suggest calling them for verification. However from my experience, this works and works well.
A:AnswerYou wont be able to aggregate ports directly to this modem, as it only has 1 port for Ethernet on the back of it. I too have aggregated ports connected to a switch. Therefore the modem does use aggregation, but your main router which connects to it should be set to static lag on the 2 1 gb ports, then the switch has to also support port aggregation as well in order to work. You cant use the router without a smart managed switch that supports the aggregation.
A:AnswerIt should be. WOW is a cable internet, and this is a high-end replacement modem. Just be sure to call WOW once you put it in -- they will want the model and serial number to "turn on" the service. Note that this model doesn't have wireless -- for that you'll still need a wireless router -- or just get the all-in-one unit instead of this one.
A:AnswerThis works perfectly with Spectrum. You don’t have to worry I too have the 400 mbps plan and it runs smoothly. It is even able to handle a gigabit plan if you ever decide to upgrade. Ever since I started using this modem my internet hasn’t dropped connection.
