• A:Answer Yes, this is completely possible. Once the Ring doorbell is installed you can set up each device in the app and select a separate chime sound for each. This model is great because it allows POE ( Power Over Ethernet)

Q: QuestionI'd like to use ring on my front and back doors. My front door has a doorbell, my back door doesn't. Does ring work if you don't have a doorbell? Do I need separate system for each door? Non techie 50 yr old female install? or need pro installer?

• A:Answer Hi Bones, Great question. You are absolutely able to install a Ring Video Doorbell on both your front and back door. Since your back door does not have a pre-existing doorbell, I would suggest you purchase either or Ring Video Doorbell or Ring Video Doorbell 2 which can both be battery operated. You can install a battery operated doorbell on your front door as well, however, you do also have the option to hardwire either our Ring Video Doorbell 2, Ring Video Doorbell, or Ring Pro. Q: QuestionI bought a 2 pack video camera system(wireless/battery) can I put the cameras in 2 seperate locations? Ie; 1 at home, 1 at office? And run off the same app.. Also if I am sharing the office camera will that person be able to access the second camera?

Q: QuestionMy front door came prewired with cat5 cable. The cat5 cable runs through the wall to bastement closet (which contains the router). The cat5 cable is bare. Is it possible to use this preexisting cat5 cable for the Ring Elite Doorbell?

Q: QuestionI do not have s pre existing wired doorbell. I tried the wireless pro but the gap after pressing bell to receiving alert was too long. Our internet hub is in back room and doorbell would be at front of house. Would lots of drilling be required?
