- Answer No. This is just a switcher. You can plug in multiple devices that have HDMI output, then run them all into one HDMI input on your TV/projector and switch between them. (For instance, you can plug a Blu-ray player, a cable box and a gaming system into this box, then run it into an HDMI input on your TV and switch between your devices without changing HDMI inputs on the TV. It’s intended for TVs or projectors that don’t have many (or enough) HDMI ports for all your devices.

QuestionHow do I keep the input channel from randomly changing on its own? Whether inputs are on or off, the input switch randomly changes from #2 where my cable box is plugged into to #4 where the Wii is plugged. I have the Will box OFF.

- Answer Chromcast is a TV Box (build-in App). RF-G1501 is a HDMI switch. You can plug chromecast onto RF-G1501. But RF-G1501 can't replace Chromecast.

QuestionI have a 2016 Samsung 65 in curve tv it comes with a one connect box unfortunately I do not have the one connect box therefore Tv won’t work without it. Can I replace or use this device as a replacement?

- Answer RF-G1501 is a pure HDMI switch. It doesn't support wifi/ BT or uart to connect to other service. If the HDMI on spectrum is standard HDMI format, RF-G1501 can delivery the signal out.

- Answer My Sony TV drives the change automatically. There's a setting on the TV that looks at compatible devices - what it ends up looking like on the TV is there's only 1 HDMI port, but then each compatible device will be called out: PS5 HDMI1; ROKU HDMI1; Fire stick HDMI1. If I change the setting in my TV menu, then I would have to use the switcher remote to pick the "right" HDMI port on the switcher (1,2,3 or 4)

- Answer it has an auto switch feature. it is probably having trouble figuring out which device you want to watch. you either need to manually control with the remote or turn off CEC control on your devices

- Answer Some hdmi devices has an option to share power state, you turn on the device, the tv turns on automatically. This hub when it gets that signal just switch, so go on device and see if you can turn that off.
