Thank you for reaching out regarding your Samsung - 21.1 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator with FlexZone™ and Ice Maker is only making less ice. Regarding your concern, the ice maker is capable of making 10 pounds of ice a day, and it's only capable of holding 2 pounds of ice at a time. Once the ice bucket is full, the ice maker will stop.

A:AnswerDelivery people were very courteous and careful in bringing in the refrigerator and setting it exactly where I wanted. Their were no issues since I did not want the ice maker set up and received free delivery and set up.
A:AnswerI have one, and have disconnected & removed the ice maker long ago, and no harm done (it's a waste of freezer space if you don't care for lots of ice on a regular basis.)

A:AnswerHi there! We'd like to help with this. The ice maker is designed to make cubes in a half moon shape. Though, because ice can be brittle at times, it is possible for the ice cubes to break apart when being dumped into the ice bucket. ^Jecca

A:AnswerAsk the Geek Squad at your Best Buy store. I had them do the installation. It was relatively inexpensive (around $125.00). They took the old refrigerator and installed the new one in under an hour.
