A:AnswerThe RF260BEAESP has a water filter that services the automatic ice maker in the freezer, but it doesn't have an internal water dispenser. The RF261BEAESP has the same features as the RF260BEAESR, but also has the water dispenser inside the refrigerator compartment.

A:AnswerRandall, that icon is the refrigerator's water filter light. It indicates when the water filter should be changed. Here is a helpful link to support your concerns on the icon (https://bit.ly/2YY3ARh). Thank you for choosing Samsung for your home! ^Lena
A:AnswerThe handles protrude from the doors 2.5” so to get the doors to a 90 degree opening you would need to allow an additional 2.5” on either side. That assumes you are putting it into a space that has a wall that extends past 48” depth as the handles are 48” from the back of the refrigerator with the doors at 90 degrees.
The doors themselves need an extra 1/2” on both sides for opening room.
A:AnswerThanks for asking JJ. This refrigerator does have a heating strip inside the flap between the french doors to help prevent condensation. This element is automatically enabled unless the Energy Saver option is turned on. Here's an article (https://bit.ly/2Q5IBFg) with a little more detail on this. ^Jecca
A:AnswerHey Pamela! The snowflake icon indicates that the Power Freeze function is turned on. This feature helps the freezer to cool down faster but does not directly affect ice production. ^Jecca
A:AnswerHi Hfisher,
Thanks for your question. You can remove the filter from the RF260BEAESP and continue to use the ice maker. However, Samsung recommends using an external filtration system if you don't use the internal system to prevent mineral deposits or debris from building up in the refrigerator's water lines over time.

A:AnswerThanks for the question. The main differences between the RF4287HARS and the RF261BEAESR include the independently controlled Flex Zone Drawer, the overall storage capacity and the location of the icemaker and water dispenser.
The RF4287HARS is the 4-door model, meaning it features the middle Flex Zone Drawer which has different settings for different types of foods, and is great for organizing and accessing frequently used items without having to open the fridge doors. It also offers 28 cubic feet of storage and the through-the-door ice and water dispenser with the icemaker located inside the refrigerator compartment.
The 25.5 cubic foot RF261BEAESR is a traditional 3-door French Door with an independently-controlled Cool Select Pantry Drawer and water dispenser inside the fridge and an icemaker in the freezer compartment.
Both models feature Samsung's signature Twin Cooling Plus system which helps keep food fresh longer, and both are members of Samsung's line-up that has received the JD Power & Associates Overall Customer Satisfaction Award for Refrigerators for 7 of the past 8 years (2005-2010 and 2012).
