A:AnswerThe mute icon pulses...onscreen....offscreen...alternating.
I have the Q60...same samsung software and One Remote. I just hold the volume down and it races down to zero in a blink. Same effect. Raising the volume you just push up and the volume races upward. You don't have to press the button 20 times each way. It really makes the mute feature redundant. I don't have any issues. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerIf your dollar store antenna does not have a coaxial cable I would not recommend using it. if it doesn't, I recommend the MOHU Leaf 50 flat panel antenna. it has a 16 foot coaxial cable and a USB signal amplifier. This one works very well with my Samsung tv. Set it up by hanging the small 10" x 12" antenna panel on a wall where signal strength is greatest then connect one end of the cable to the antenna output connector to the antenna panel. (The amplifier adapter should be powered by a USB adapter in a wall outlet or power strip near the tv's input) and the other end of the antenna cable goes to the cable input on this amplifier adapter and a small cable coming from this amplifier goes to the antenna input on the tv. when it is set up, do a channel scans in the Samsung menu to see if you are picking up stations. you may have to experiment a little by moving the antenna from one wall to another until to find the sweet spot of broadcast signals. Detailed instructions are supplied with this antenna. I ended up having to buy an additional 12' of antenna cable with a male-male splicer because, my sweet spot of broadcast signals were too far away for just the 16' cable. It was a bit of a challenge to set up but, I got it done with about 40 plus broadcast channels available. The only problems I am having are minimal with the use of nearby Microwave ovens or with overhead aircraft which interferes my reception.

A:AnswerNo the antenna is a separate input signal from your DSL internet connection or Wi-Fi. if you are using a cable tv box connected to your TV antenna input, there would be a problem because, you would need that input to connect your antenna. Most cable boxes have two outputs to choose from. One is a coaxial output for the tv antenna input and the other is for an HDMI output for an HDMI tv input. for best cable reception, it is better to connect the HDMI output on your cable box to the HDMI input on your TV. that way you are free to connect an antenna as a separate input signal source. Your computer would be connected to one of the other HDMI inputs if you use your tv as a monitor. The Antenna input would not be disabled when connecting to the internet because, they are two separate sources that are independent of each other .
A:AnswerUnfortunately the Speakers projecting sound is "Backwards". It's unfortunate because we always have to raise the volume sometimes up to 50!!!!!
