A:Answer My answer is yes. I was able to recover 100% of data files, calendar, contacts, photos, music, and emails. The old drive seems to be pretty much 100% intact apart from the boot sector. Of course you might not be so lucky. Connecting the old drive as a USB drive works fine although it is quite slow. But I think you will find it worthwhile if you can recover at least some of your old data.
