A:AnswerThe tab s is much more slimmer and lighter than the pro, it's faster than the pro. It has a better processor than the pro, tab s is a octa-core vs a quad-core on a pro. Plus the tab s battery lasts a bit longer than the pro.
A:AnswerIt has S-voice, which is like Siri. I haven't used it much, but when I have it uses the home button to activate it. There may be a way to use it without using the home button though. It works pretty well and recognizes questions and commands. I've used it to open apps and set alarms, but not much else. The tablet has a lot of "Accessibility" options for those who need to use voice prompts, or have poor eyesight, but I have not used those options much. Google's "Ok, Google" voice program also works.
A:AnswerThese are my experiences. I own both the Apple iPad Air 64GB and the Samsung Tab S Mini 3 16GB but have an SD card in it for additional memory. Both devices offer good functionality and performance. I have seen performance tests with both devices side by side. Apple leads in performance with native OS Apps but the Samsung is faster with third party Apps. Screen resolution and cameras on the Samsung are better than the iPad. But - Apple Apps are more abundant than Android Apps.
Apple sometimes strangles its end users with their proprietary ways, like media file sharing, Bluetooth connections to other devices and no down grade path to a previous OS when the new one has bugs or is not liked. The Android OS is an open platform and offers its end users more control over the things we do with "computer devices". Bluetooth connections - no problem. Media file sharing no problem. File manipulation is a breeze.
I like the iPad Air but have had several technical issues with it. i.e. not being able to make purchases or update apps. (an Apple problem) iTunes has also been a major problem; again with several issues concerning Apples' software updates. Also payment options at the iTunes store has been a problem. Had to contact support several times concerning this with no explanation by them as to what the problem was. The issue was not on my end.
But iTunes is my default music player; for now, because that can reside on my desktop PC, the iPhone and the iPad. Don't like the "issues" but an Android App for music on the desktop does not make sense.
So far no issues with the Samsung Tab Mini 3. Great screen colors, great camera resolution. Performance with their new processor is great. Have not run into any problems sharing media files. No problems with WiFi or Bluetooth connections to any device, including another Android Tablet or phone. (something Apple restricts) No problems with the OS. I'm sure the OS has some bugs but so far it's been all good.
One great app that Samsung offers is Smart Switch. The ability to log into my iCloud account a download everything that resides there to the Samsung device. Contacts, Music, Photos etc.

A:AnswerSounds like a warranty issue. If just over the 15 days. I would call Samsung, or go back to Best Buy and ask if they can resolve the issue under warranty.
Samsung customer service was quite helpful when I called them, having a battery issue on a tablet. They seemed knowledgeable and willing to listen to the whole issue prior to attempting to diagnose issues.
I have also always had great luck with Best Buy Customer Service. And I would attempt them first; as results may happen faster.
A:AnswerIf you have a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone, you can use "SideSync" app to mirror your phone to the tablet and make/receive calls from the tablet. This works with ANY carrier.
A:AnswerThis is the most current tablet samsung has made as of 12/16/14...ive WiFi tether it to my phone and there is a version available for use on Verizon I believe the model is 705 for lte variants...and I would highly recommend the lte model since WiFi tethering isn't very convenient
A:AnswerThere is no headset. The tablet, instructions, and charging cable are what come in box. You should also get 6 months of Trend Micro Security, but I did not receive mine like told on site.
