Q: QuestionIf I get a Geek Squad membership, do I need to pay for Windows 10 software itself ? (I understand the installation from windows 7 on my old laptop is free with membership, but is there another charge for the Windows 10 software itself?)

• A:Answer That will depend on if your Windows 7 license is also good for Windows 10 at this juncture. If you previously updated, it should be. If you haven't, you'll need to pay for a new Windows 10 license.

You can download the apps individually from the App Store (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc) as well as the Microsoft Office app which can help you download all of them.
