A:AnswerIf it's still under warranty get a refund. Otherwise, unplug, remove battery, replace battery then plug it back in. But, it's days are numbered. Get a new clock radio soon - but don't get a Sony!
A:AnswerHi Pappy, here are some tips on how to improve the reception of the unit: 1.Extend the FM wire antenna fully to increase
reception sensitivity. 2.Connect the supplied AM loop antenna to
the unit. Rotate the antenna horizontally for
optimum reception. 3.Do not place the AM loop antenna near the
unit or other AV equipment, as noise may
result. 4.Keep digital music players or mobile phones
away from the AM loop antenna or the FM
antenna, as this may lead to reception interference. I hope this helps. Thanks! ^Ron
A:AnswerHi there! No. This unit doesn't have a separate antenna. The AC power cord functions as an FM antenna. Extend the AC power cord fully to increase reception sensitivity. -Anthony
