QuestionI have a Subwoofer from the HT-ST5000 system. Can I connect my subwoofer that came with the Sony HT-ST5000 to the HT-A7000 sound bar. Looking at upgrading to the HT-A7000 but don't want to buy another sound bar. Thanks!

- Answer Hello Aggie, Thank you for your inquiry and for being a Sony HT-ST5000 owner. Regarding your question, unfortunately, no. The subwoofer of the HT-ST5000 will not work with the HT-A7000. The HT-A7000 7.1.2ch Dolby Atmos®/ DTS: X® Soundbar will only work with one of the following wireless subwoofers: • SASW3 - 200 W of sound from a compact bass reflex subwoofer with a 160 mm driver. • SASW5 - 300 W of deep, rich bass from a 180 mm driver with a passive radiator. Questionhow is dialogue handled? Sometimes it is challenging to hear what is being spoken when using a soundbar. One competitor I have been researching offers a dialogue enhancement tool. Is this basically the center channel?

- Answer Hi peteri2003, Thank you so much for your inquiry! The HTA7000 has a VOICE feature on the remote which will make the dialog easily heard by enhancing dialog range. The HTA7000 is also equipped with Acoustic Center Sync, you'll hear dialogue from exactly where the character is standing in the scene. - Answer Hi CWinPA, Thank you so much for your inquiry! The Sony HTA7000 does not have any analog connectors on the back of the soundbar for wired rear speakers. However, it does support wireless rear speakers through our optional SA-RS3S wireless speaker kit. This kit includes two wireless rear speakers that connect to a wireless receiver unit, which in turn connects to the soundbar. It is also worth noting that the Sony HT-A7000 supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, which provide immersive 3D sound without the need for rear speakers. I hope this helps! Regards, Carl

QuestionI have a LG 70UM6970PUA, I watch most of my content through a Chromecast with google tv. I also have a ps4 & switch that are connected. I was looking to get the HT-A7000 and new SA-RS5 speakers. Is this sound bar compatible or too much for my current tv?

- Answer Hi Trev23, Thank you for your inquiry! The HTA7000 sounds perfect for your TV setup! For this, we recommend having the external devices connected to your TV and connect the HTA7000 to the HDMI eARC and have the TV output the audio to your soundbar. With this setup, you can enjoy object audio content, such as Dolby Atmos - Dolby TrueHD and DTS:X or multi-channel LPCM content that cannot be transmitted with ARC by connecting the speaker system and TV compatible with eARC using an HDMI cable. If your TV is not capable of eARC, and you have an external device that is capable of Dolby Atmos, we recommend having the external device connected to the HTA7000 directly instead. With this setup, the HTA7000 will still output Dolby Atmos. Also, please make sure to run the Sound Field Optimization feature of the HTA7000. This will measure the position of each speaker and optimizes the sound to your room. I hope this helps! Regards, Carl

QuestionWhen using this sound bar and the Dish Network Hopper-3 can i adjust the volume with the dish's remote or do i still need to use two remotes for the TV Sony XR-55A80J? I guess what I'm trying to find out does this Sony Sound Bar work with Dish Network.

However, the HTA7000 should work with your remote controller of The Sony TV. For this, we recommend having the Bravia Sync function enabled on both the HTA7000 and XR55A80J TV and the Dish Network's control for HDMI. This has been achieved by expanding the area of the diaphragm and the size of the subwoofer (X-Balanced Speaker Unit). QuestionDoes VRR and ALLM only apply to gaming and not 4k movies? I have the ubp-x800m2 player and want to make sure I'm getting everything out of my 4k disks. Does this soundbar allow for that in pass through or should I be hooking up the player directly to TV?

QuestionHello, I need to connect my ps5 to the sound bar HDMI IN Port and then an HDMI cable from the eARC HDMI port from the sound bar to the tvs eARC HDMI port. Connecting it this way will I get 4k 120hz, VRR and Auto low latency while playing games om the PS5?

QuestionHi, I have the HT-A7000 sound bar with the Sony wireless SA-RS5 speakers. I have the sound coming from the HDMI but the wireless speakers sometimes have static. The wireless speakers also cuts in and out. I returned them however I have the same issue.

This is definitely not the experience we want you to have with our products. Allow us to help troubleshoot the issue and turn this to a better experience. Please try some solutions below if the sound skips or has noise: If there is a device nearby that generates electromagnetic waves, such as a wireless LAN or a microwave oven in use, set the optional speaker and the speaker system apart from it. If there is an obstacle between the optional speaker and the speaker system, move or remove it. Set the optional speaker and the speaker system in a position as close as possible. Change the [Setup] - [Advanced Settings] - [Speaker Settings] - [Wireless Speaker Settings] - [RF Channel] setting to [Off], and then change to [On] again. Switch the network connection of the TV or Blu-ray Disc player from wireless to wired. Set [Setup] - [Advanced Settings] - [Speaker Settings] - [Wireless Speaker Settings] - [Wireless Playback Quality] to [Connection]. QuestionCan the sound bar be attached to the bottom of the TV? I have a Sony - 65" Class BRAVIA XR A80J Series OLED 4K UHD and the TV is on a dynamic wall mount (the mount can be moved around.). I would like the sound bar to be attached to the TV or the mount.

- Answer Sounds like you have a defective unit, I just plugged mine in and pressed the power button on the remote or the the touch button on the bar itself.connect a device to it like a streamer and see if it changes, make sure it is hooked up correctly to the tv. Take it to best buy and have it checked out
