Great install team. They found a problem with the terminal on my amplifier and replaced it and saved me from having to buy a new one.

Car Amplifier Installation

Laz, the gentleman who installed my car amplifier was extremely professional, helpful, and knew exactly what he was doing. I had full trust in him after speaking to him about my car—He even knew my car’s specific requirements for an amplifier installation, by knowing to deactivate the car’s Active Noise Cancellation system, or my car will have a horrible sound produced after the amplifier was installed. Not every car technician knows how to perform the installation he did, and the process of deactivating the ANC is a time consuming task.
The installation looks like it was done by a professional, because it was. The wire connected to the battery looks like it came with the car, with all of the cables wrapped, and placed neatly. The amplifier installed in the trunk was placed without any visible wires, keeping a nice clean look, and no possibility of items in my trunk pulling on a wire.
Laz also adjusted the amplifier (i.e. crossover, and gain) to meet my car’s speakers requirements so they will sound their best, and not ‘blow’ with my powerful amp.
To get an appointment with Laz can take up to 3 weeks for a car electronics installation, but it is worth the wait, b/c it is done right. I had the opportunity to go to other Best Buy’s to get my amplifier installed, at a much sooner time, but after speaking to Laz in person before the installation, I gained full confidence in him, and I didn’t want anyone else installing my amplifier. I couldn’t be happier that I waited for a free slot with him.

Although overall the install was finally done right, the whole installation department does not explain services well so that what is needed can be clearly understood. I got no advice about what would work well with our unit. I had to figure it out myself. It seemed like they were intionally dodging my questions. This is the 3rd time I have had this kind of experience with Best Buy installers.I may not buy again from this company because of this culture.

The Geek Squad members who did my car audio installation were excellent. Their task was not simple. They had to install a pair of 2 way speakers up front (with a crossover) and install a 5 channel power amp, a CD player, a sub-woofer in the trunk and 2 10 inch replacement speakers in the rear deck. I left the car with them at Best Buy and when I returned they were trouble-shooting the 2-way speakers, having already installed everything else. They made the decision (since it was closing time) to start fresh in the morning and within and hour had figured out what the problem was. There was not a single sign that there had been an installation and the car was cleaned inside. The sound is simply amazing and I had given the installers a range of music to test the system with. When I picked-up the car, I sat inside with the head installer and was just amazed at how Jared had adjusted the entire system. The system sounds astonishing! I could not be happier!
Five Stars all the way for this Geek Squad team!

Love these guys! They walked me through making a 15 speaker upgrade in my Infiniti Q60.
Very knowledgeable team and my car was put back together with no damage.

Excellent service! The most professional installations and well knowledge team. They installed an amplifier and a sub on a brand new Mitsubishi Outlander. Looks like factory, no damage on any of the plastics and the cables are well hidden. Excellent service would recommend to anyone who looking for car speaker setup and install.

Javier at the Florida city store did an excellent job of installing an amp in my 2024 Ford mach-e. He is a meticulous guy and that's the kind of guy you want working on your car.

I consulted with Audio Installer Mike Pieceynski Best Buy store 1451 for my 2016 Nissan crew 4door. He was awesome and it felt more like an collaboration than …sell me some Kickers and on to the next install. His audio knowledge was right-on as we worked out the details and he was super excited to do this build. I knew I wanted to use the Alpine PDX 400w amp instead of replacing my factory head and a compact sub under the seat. He suggested the JBL BassPro 8” sub and JBL 6x9 3 ways in the front door panels and JBL 6.5 2 ways in the rear. I wanted clarity, every acoustical detail, like a live stage. He set the door speakers to mid and high only and w/ bass phased out of them. I listen to music using high end Sennheiser headphones and the reproduction of this setup in my truck is amazing (proper acoustic staging in an auto is impossible) but this sounds pretty awesome. He delivered! He offered to tweak it for me for free if I needed it later, but it sounds insane like it is. They are lucky to have Mike at their store and his work was exceptional.

I had the Geek Squad install a kicker key amplifier into my car, and the installation was stupidly simple. The work was clean, and well hidden. They even managed to use less wire than they thought they needed and returned it for me, saving me money without asking!

I had Geek Squad install a single din Pioneer 7" flip-out head unit, two Alpine amps to pair with two sets of Alpine component speakers, a backup camera, subwoofer, subwoofer amp, a custom subwoofer box (purchased elsewhere) that had to be trimmed down to fit better in my car, multiple additional audio/visual cables, and an easy-bake oven (ok, that's a stretch) in my car. I'm glad I paid to have Geek Squad install it all. For the low price (you can also watch for sales and package deals they offer for purchasing certain products) and convenience of getting everything done by a team working together and doing it all at once, it's so for it. The two Geek Squad techs took their time to get everything wired, fitted, customized, and tested very well. There's also the benefit of knowing that they will take care of any issues that come up in the future since they're the ones that installed everything. Much appreciated. Hope this helps. Thanks. I had a JBL digital 4 channel amplifier installed. It's a newer style of product that is set 100% digitally. The install bay installers had said they didn't know much about this type of product and that it was a "challenge" to tune it. Unfortunately it wasn't tuned that well (the levels were not set where they should be).
The actual hook-up of the amplifier to the battery, to the speakers, and to the head-unit was done very well. The amp was mounted onto the back side of a custom fit subwoofer enclosure and was secured very nicely. They even handled some basic wire management (read: made the wires look pretty) that I didn't expect from them.
The amp works great now that I tuned it myself, and it should stay safe and secure for the life of the vehicle. Overall a positive experience.

These guys killed it!! They swapped out my 4 factory door speakers, installed new head and 2 amps. One of which I have owned for years and they had no problem utilizing it. They recommended a sub that would fit my install, but Best Buy didn't carry, so I purchased elsewhere. The sound is absolutely amazing!! Aesthetically the install was flawless, looks factory installed. Had no problems since the install some 9 or so months ago.

I recently had bestBuy install the Alpine 4 channel amp in my 2014 Jeep wrangler Sport. The install took 3 hours and the amp was installed behind the glove box. It's hidden from view but easily accessed by removing the glove box. The additional power provided by the amp is noticeable right away. I usually listen to music at volume level 20 now I'm at 13. with the windows down I increase the volume level to 20 the radio sounds great with no distortion of the speakers. I had previously upgraded the stock speakers and tweeters to JL Audio speakers now they sound so much better.
