The scanner is quick. You don't have to wait for it to warm up, preview scan, or anything. It just ingests the scanning material and processes it quickly. This satisfied one of the features I wanted, however, the other feature I was looking for was quality scans. I was hoping to scan in all my photos to keep them in digital format, it did that, but the quality wasn't fair. I ended up re-doing them all with a flatbed scanner instead. This product works great for quick scans that you may not be concerned about quality, such as signing a document and scanning it to be emailed somewhere.

This scanner is all anyone would need for home use! It's compact, easy to use, and scans documents with incredible clarity. We never had a scanner in the household before and are kicking ourselves we didn't seek out this little gem earlier. It even comes with a cloth bag for storage. Can't say enough about this Brother product. We all HIGHLY recommend. Thank you to Best Buy for selling such a great scanner!

Not a bad scanner,but I just use the basic software for my Mac. Downloaded the BR receipts from their website,a total waste of $10.00. Does not work,called Brother they did not get back to me yet.

I am new to scanning documents and this product made it easy to do. I needed this for graduate school and it has been beneficial and easy to use.

The scanner works great good color are black and white copy. The only bad thing is the USB plug should be on the end not in the back it get in the way of the paper if you scan more than one paper.

I tried two cheaper similar scanners and returned them both. They were not feeding the paper right so the scan either fails or comes out all crooked. I went with this Brother 620 after reading all great reviews and I was not disappointed. Perfect scans no matter what I threw at it. I scan mostly receipts and they all come out perfect not like the ones I returned which always cut off the top and bottom. If you are looking for a receipt scanner you can't go wrong with this one.

Need to digitize documents with ease? This is definitely good place to start. It's a no frills scanner, so don't expect the world. But for my use, it's great. Even a couple of photo scans came out better than expected. Setup was a little weird at first, but a couple of minutes actually using my brain did the trick.

This item worked perfectly, the only thing I did not like was that it does not do anything longer than 8.5x14 (legal). Other than that, it was quick, and image quality was nice.

Love how portable & easy to use it is. Would have preferred the plug-in port on the unit be on the side instead of the back. Hand-feeding page after page to scan goes fairly quickly. But, I've learned that when it pauses in mid-scan, the scan would come out as separate images or separate pages. So, I just have to be sure to rescan the page in one straight shot...

I got this scanner to use with my MacBook pro and so far it is functioning well for my needs. I like the simplicity of this product---easy to install and easy to use.

This scanner is very easy to use, light-weight and the perfect size to take with you. Nice quality scan.

Impressed with being able to use it right out of the box. The included software is simple to understand and allows easily customized, automatic naming of files.

I needed a small scanner for home use and this one does the trick. Very easy to use, software installed easy and stores nicely in black pouch that was provided. You can scan multiple pages, but need to pull them into a PDF editor to combine. Overall, I have VERY happy with the Brother - DS-620 Mobile Color Page Scanner. I am glad I did not spend more to get a bigger model.

It would not work with my Mac until I updated the firmware from a Windows PC. Then it woks using their application only - it won't use Apple's Image Capture program. Only a USB port required. No other cables or batteries which is nice. It scans a page fairly quickly pulling it through. Everything comes out dark as I haven't figured out how to set the contrast/brightness in the app.

Perfect space saving scanner. It's a breeze to hook up and quickly scan a document or two and then put it away. Not ideal for scanning in photos, but does an okay job after some tweaks to the settings. So far I'm happy with the purchase.

The scanner does as described on box. Nice and small. Came with clothes carry case. The software provided is a few version old. Of course to get the latest requires additional purchase from software publisher. The scanner has provided me the option of being able to scan document and send them back to people in pdf format.

Easy to use and lightweight. Great for scanning on the go and gives a good quality scan.

This scanner worked great when I needed to copy pages at a family reunion. It synced to my computer without any trouble. The pages scanned well and were easily read later.
