Great printer - it was a learning curve to figure out how to print on 4.25x5.5” cardstock but we managed to make it work. This is one of few printers that can print on that size. It does go through ink fast but we purchase generic brand ink refills on Amazon and they work fine.

I've only had this for a couple weeks, but so far I'm very happy. I print inject decals for my business, so it's important to have the crispest images and the truest colors I can get.
My previous printer was an Epson, but on recommendation from a photographer friend I opted for a Canon PIXMA. I love the wider format and the fact that I have fewer ink cartridge colors to buy.

Have always been a Pixma fan--produces good photos. Haven't had printer long but seems solid Occasionally will be very slow to process from being told to print to actually doing the printing--this is not consistent and was noted in several tech reviews I read prior to purchase. Drawbacks I have noticed: dark ink tanks (I don't like relying on the printer telling me about the ink as I found when the cartridges were clear that the printer wanted them changed long before necessary. Also this is a large printer--obviously to accommodate the increased size printing option. Nonetheless it is long.

I actually bought a different model PIXMA first, based on a “Best AirPrint Printers of 2018” article, but it turned out to be wrong for my situation in several different ways. After a bit of research, I found this model which uses the same size ink cartridges, fits in my space, has better documentation, and works flawlessly (so far) with my home WiFi. Additionally it prints much more quickly and quietly than the 8 year old printer it is replacing. And it prints two-sided through some magic of paper feeding that I can’t quite figure out.
I have not yet used the scan or copy functions, or printed any photos, to judge quality in those other areas. But for solid printer functionality over a WiFi network, this is a great printer at a good price.

Quality printing at an affordable price, connectivity is very practical in today's world. Delivery was quick to a close store, made easy for pick up and ensure no shipping damage. Satisfied because it is what we needed.

I LOOOVE this printer! I did extensive research on most liked printers and this one popped up in reviews pretty often. I compared it to the newer printers too but this one STILL had great reviews. Even though it was a few years old since release, I decided to buy it. Newer is not necessarily always better so I went for this one based on previous reviews. I also purchased it to print larger sizes (ie 12x18 and 13x19) for my daughters artwork and for crafting, even though I can and do print documents on it too. The print quality is very clean. I'm VERY happy to have this printer. I wish it scanned, but I knew it didn't have that feature when I purchased it, however that would make it the perfect printer!

This printer was reasonably priced and works perfectly at very high quality. I am very impressed and recommend highly. I use it for high quality art prints.

It replaced a very poor just over 1 year old Epson all in one. I got many years of use out of previous Canon printers and I am so happy that I found this one. I use this primarily for printing custom decals and artwork for model railroading projects and it does a super job printing very fine detail.

I bought this printer to replace a Canon PIXMA IP4920 that I wore out after 7 years of professional use. I'm a Art Director in commercial film and I used it a lot. I decided to buy this printer on the advice of a Canon rep that was at my local Best Buy store. It was on sale an it was too hard to pass up. I'm glad I bought it. Photo prints are excellent and the speed is good too. Wireless connectivity is nice. I highly recommend this printer.

We wanted an all in one printer that we could also use to print large photos with. We are pleased with the ease of set-up and use. Photos look great and we can even print from our smart phones!

I had owned another brand that used 8 or 9 ink cartridges. I was drawn to the Canon because I had owned other Pixma printers and had been berry pleased. This printer is everything I hoped it would be. It is fast on presentation paper and surprising fast on 12x19!photo paper. Overall a great choice for a variety of large print sizes.

I purchased this printer because I wanted something that would do larger format prints. This unit provides that feature, if not much else.
Print quality is fantastic on just about any paper type I've used.
While printing is surprisingly fast, the printer does have to think for several minutes before starting to print larger images and other files.
If you want something that is fast, good quality, and especially inexpensive, for medium to large format prints, this is one of the best options.

I purchased this printer to replace a HP Officejet 7000. So far, the results have been good. The print quality has been excellent, and the ink lasts longer than expected. I use the printer for low volume image printing, not for text. The only problem so far is that the replacement ink cost is high. However this seems to be the biggest problem on most inkjet printers. I have not used the wireless feature and have the printer USB connected.

Prints beautifully on up to 13x19. Using aftermarket ink and Canon Pro Luster paper looks as good or better than lab prints. Tried some Epson Metallic paper and results were stunning. Uses 250/251 ink which is easy to get cheap from amazon...i use Arthur Imaging ink with good results. Canon ink would cost a fortune for big prints.
