I had been going crazy over loosing my info on my older Surface pro three and keeping most current info on dual backups. My geeks did it all in record time and added necessary web protection and office 365 on my new improved computer! I can now relax knowing I’ve got my geeks for a full calander year. So many installation discounts on all my purchases for just one low price of $200 with nominal installation fees. They are my computer Gods and they can be yours too! My hard drive crashed with 20 years of work data, financial data etc. My whole life. The Geeks recovered everything and I had it back in about 3 weeks. Didn't even have to start quicken over. Great Job GEEKS

We thought we lost all the data on our failed hard drive, which had not been backed up for several months. Thought lost were hundreds of photos, Quicken data, important files, etc. etc. We took the Geek Squad up on their offer to send the drive to KY where the data recovery center is located. We figured it was worth a shot. Imagine our relief when the center was able to recover nearly 100% of the data and re-store it on a Passport external drive for us. Overall, the experience was much better than expected, and worth every cent (which also wasn't as much as we thought it might be!)

I was relieved that my external hard drive could be recovered. It is a bummer to have to pay such a high fee and to wait (around 2 weeks) but it is better than getting nothing!!

Recovered about 50% of data off of crashed hard drive. I was hoping for better, but better half than none at all.

Geek squad did a data recovery for me, they tried to do the recovery in store( winston-salem) but figure that we needed to send it off. The whole safe kept me updated thruout the whole service from phone calls to emails, i would highly recommend anyone to them .

My old Mac's HD was dying so I took the whole 27" unit to Geek Squad. In two days they backed up all my data, including WinXP data from a partitioned VMware drive, onto a separately purchased 2TB Seagate external HD. I spent a C-note (look it up) and feel it was worth every penny. They preserved the confidentiality of my data, were amazingly thorough, and made subsequent restoration of data onto my new PC's internal HD awesomely EZ. The agents were able to do what others couldn't. I thought that I had lost priceless items when the hard drive failed. They were able to recover and save my data. Three cheers for the team!

Most data was recovered. Some larger video files wont play.

When I think I will not recover my data because a failure of my motherboard. They provide to me a solution to try data recovery, I said yes with a little expectations but for my surprise they recovered 99.99% of my data.

The Geek Squad associates listened to the details, attempted to access my hard drive in the store (unsuccessful). They then fully explained the next steps in the data recovery process and estimated costs, which would only be incurred upon my approval. They were very understanding and patient and suggested if I had any questions and/or concerns, to call them immediately. Great Customer Service!

Was honest about the chances my computer could be repaired. Couldn't resolve issue but sent it.

Initially, I brought my laptop to BB because my hard drive died. I wanted it replaced -- as it was still under the year warranty. Turns out, my data had to be retrieved at a significant price. And, then - when I heard from Best Buy that my laptop was ready for me to pick up...I go to the store, only to find out that the hard drive had NOT been replaced.. So...off it went ...back to the shop -- out in Tennessee or somewhere. DAH! THe process was not handle well at all. It is taking a LONG time to get my laptop back. I'm expecting it sometime next week.... but as I've lost faith in Best Buy... who knows when I'll actually get it back.
