This monitor is perfect for my use case. I needed something for work that is big enough with high resolution to see charts but not too big to still allow dual monitors side by side in the future. I also wanted good color accuracy and high refresh rates without breaking the bank. This monitor has a great ergonomic stand, allows a single USB cable for power and data, pop ports for accessories and charging, and the side HDMI has a nearby USB port that can power a Chromecast with Google TV (it also has good speakers so I am able to turn it to a smart TV). It has some light bleeds on the edge but it’s still probably the best monitor overall for this price range in my opinion.

Excellent for most applications. 120Hz @4K is pretty good for this price point. It has USB-C and HDMI connections at that refresh rate.

When setting up an art studio, whether for graphic design, or researching subject matter, having a reliable and high-quality monitor is an absolute necessity for me. The Dell 27" LED 4K FreeSync Monitor has not only met my expectations but surpassed them in ways I hadn’t anticipated. From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by the attention to detail in the packaging. Dell has clearly put thought into ensuring that every component arrives in perfect condition. The box was easy to open, and inside, all the components were protected in their own separate packaging, reducing the risk of damage during transit. Setup was one of the most straightforward processes I’ve ever experienced with a monitor. Dell’s easy-to-follow guide made installation a breeze, with clear, concise instructions that left no room for confusion. Even the two screws used when attaching the base come with their own turning tab so a screwdriver is not needed. Within minutes, I had the monitor mounted on my desk, connected, and ready to go. Once powered on, the display immediately caught my attention. The 4K resolution is truly stunning—the colors are vivid, the contrasts are sharp, and the overall clarity is remarkable. As an artist, accurate color representation is crucial, and this monitor delivers that effortlessly. Whether I’m sketching designs, editing high-resolution images, or even watching tutorials to refine my craft, every detail appears crisp and lifelike. The thin bezel design enhances the display, making the screen appear even larger than it already is. This is particularly helpful when working on intricate designs that require a broad, uncluttered workspace. Another standout feature is the variety of connectivity options. The monitor comes with USB-C, HDMI, and a USB port, making it incredibly versatile. I connected my laptop via HDMI and plugged in my earbuds to the USB port to keep them charged at all times. Often, I listen to music or online tutorials while working, and having my earbuds always ready to use is a convenience I didn’t realize I needed. With flicker-free technology and a built-in comfort view mode, my eyes don’t feel fatigued even after several hours of intense designing or editing. The screen’s anti-glare properties help maintain clarity without excessive brightness, making it easy to work in various lighting conditions. Whether the sunlight streams into my studio or I’m working late at night under artificial lighting, the monitor adjusts beautifully to provide a comfortable viewing experience. Beyond technical specifications, this monitor has transformed my workflow. In a creative space, efficiency matters, and the Dell 27" LED 4K FreeSync Monitor helps streamline my process in multiple ways. The large screen real estate allows me to have multiple windows open simultaneously, so I can reference inspiration images, work on designs, and keep a tool palette readily available—all without feeling cramped. This multi-tasking capability has improved my productivity, allowing me to work faster and more effectively. Another major advantage is its compatibility with digital art tools. Whether working in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Corel Painter, the monitor handles high-resolution graphics effortlessly. The refresh rate ensures smooth transitions and eliminates lag, which is crucial when working on time-sensitive projects. I never experience delays. The 4K resolution enhances video playback, making films, animations, and even YouTube tutorials look crystal-clear. The vibrant colors and deep contrasts bring content to life, making it an enjoyable experience whether I’m working or winding down with an ambient video. Durability is another plus of this monitor. Dell has a reputation for creating reliable, long-lasting products, and this monitor is no exception. The build quality feels solid, and I have no concerns about longevity.

I’m a multi-monitor guy that spends a lot of time on my PC working, among other things. My setup included a single 27” 1080p monitor that I wanted to replace in order to give me consistency across my visual landscape. That’s where this 27” UHD Dell FreeSync monitor comes in. The box for this monitor was pretty par for the course – well protected with cardboard and air pockets to boot. Pull it out of the box and you quickly notice some assembly is required. It was very simple, and I didn’t need instructions or tools to assemble the monitor. There are screw points, but they have a built-in hand tightening handle on each screw head. Looking at the monitor, I really like the white base and stand. The contrast against black screen edges gives it a nice look. Plug and play is always the most welcome part of Windows, and I had zero problems plugging this monitor into my computer and it popping right on. First impressions of the display: crisp, good contrast, and surprisingly clear and vibrant. I say this because this monitor has a (should be) coveted built-in blue light filter. ComfortView Plus is said to reduce blue light emissions while maintaining color accuracy. I was expecting this to be a case where what’s promised would be too good to be true – nope. The color accuracy, contrast, and detail are all fantastic on this thing. The clarity is great as well. Then there’s the refresh rate and FreeSync. Let’s just say that the average gamer will be more than satisfied with this monitor. The thing about this Dell monitor is that it goes above and beyond to offer users a somewhat all-in-one like solution while eliminating desktop clutter. How? It’s got a built in USB hub that puts out enough wattage (65W) to power/charge most laptops and tablets. Not only that; it has a total of 4 USB ports (two of them hidden away in a cool popout mechanism along the bottom of the screen) allowing you to connect multiple devices if necessary. In a word, this is awesome! I can connect my laptop to the PD port on the back of the monitor and it will serve visuals while it is powered by the monitor. Then I can add a wireless keyboard and mouse. The second built in feature that adds to the all-in-one feel is the built-in speaker system. The speakers are strong and have decent clarity for built-ins. This gives you a near wireless set up and a clean table top/desktop. I honestly have been thinking about moving this monitor to my convenience desk in my bedroom because it offers a quick connect full solution when I want to do some quick work there. Well, as you can see, I liked this monitor! First and foremost, it gives you an excellent picture with blue light emission reduction, great contrast, and vibrant and accurate colors. The USB-C power hub is unmatched in offering a near all-in-one feel while eliminating cords and clutter. Throw in there a decent speaker system and good looks, and you have yourself one of the better desktop (laptop) experiences out there. There is even display and peripheral management software offered by Dell to help with window management and multitasking. I highly recommend this monitor to anyone needing one.

I own a couple of different Dell monitors one being the old but outstanding U2713HM which are my main three monitors. Dell’s U series are their top-of-the-line monitors and the U2713Hm are 2560x1440 2k monitors. I have tried some other top brands, thinking about switching to 4k but none were as good as my U2713HM monitors. However, I do have a Dell Alienware 27” 1080P gaming monitor that is outstanding and now this new S series, the Dell-S2725QC 27” IPS LED 4K UHD FreeSync Monitor (USB-C, HDMI). This new S series all though not the top of the line U series is outstanding and is the first monitor that actually exceeds my old U2713 HM series monitors. I feel like this new S2725QC has more pop and better clarity and I think that may have to do with it having HDR. Everything seems more vibrant on this 4K S series with HDR, offering more clarity compared to the old U series. This makes me really want to see what the new U series looks like. With those references out of the way for context, I am going to focus on the features of the S2725QC 27” Dell 4K monitor. I love everything about this new S series from the color of the stand and the back to the new upgraded joystick for settings navigation. This joystick for navigating the Display settings is really genius and works extremely well, simplifying the process by leaps and bounds compared to the old antiquated multi-button system that was always a little confusing because you never could actually see the buttons. I also like the pop-off cover for access to the two USB ports on the left rear of this monitor. It adds a nice, clean finished look while allowing you to connect and run your wires out the bottom opening that is made for them. You can also add a wireless dongle back there that will interface with your connected computer and if you are using the provided USB-C cable or equivalent, it will send your display signal to your display as well as provide power to your USB-C powered laptop, providing up to 65 watts at the same time. That makes the other three available USB ports two USB Type-A 5 Gbps downstream ports, one with charging capabilities and one additional USB Type-C port with 5 Gbps downstream capabilities, along with power delivery of up to 15 watts. There are also two HDMI ports, one HDCP 1.4 and one HDMI 2.3 port supporting UHD 3840x2160 at 120Hz with FRL, HDR and VRR, meeting all of the official HDMI specifications for HDMI 2.1. Two of the USB ports are available in a pop-out forward-facing array from a cleverly designed, hidden-away hub. You just push up and release to pop out one USB-Type-C and one USB-Type-A port that are easy to see and easily accessible. This display also comes with built-in speakers that sound very good for built-in monitor speakers and a headphone jack underneath. The speakers have decent range and put out some decent mid-range bass. However, you can tell they are in a monitor and not a speaker housing. I wish they could find a way to better encapsulate the speakers to make them sound more like regular speakers, but it's definitely nice to have them there and they are better than any other built-ins I have heard. I noticed that the U series 27-inch 4K did not have built-in speakers but more available ports and a USB Hub underneath the back, just like my older U series does. I would really like to see the new U series next this S series after having it now. I just can’t imagine how much better a screen can get short of being OLED so we will have to see. It definitely has me considering getting two more of these new S series S2725QC 4K monitors. The new Dell S2725QC 27” 4K monitor has left me very impressed and after many years considering an upgrade. It is so good in fact that I am not even sure I need to go for the U series. I am very impressed with Dell’s refinement of their monitors from the ease of use to the new colors to the new screens in 4K with HDR. It is very evident that they have been pushing forward with a very respectable effort that does not go unnoticed. With their inclusion of AMD Freesync in this monitor and me being in the process of building a new AMD-based gaming PC it makes things even more enticing. For years now after using many different brands, I have been saying Dell makes the best screens. I still stand by that and I will definitely be sticking with Dell monitors for years to come. This monitor is an outstanding value at the current sale price of $299.99 and if you want two, you can get them for less than the price of one U series and I believe just about anyone would be very happy with this S-series unless you just have to have the U-series for professional work.

A Big Beautiful Monitor for Productivity

Lets talk about screen real-estate? In the world of putting in multiple windows to showcase all your data, bigger is better. Size doesn't matter, because along with size, screen resolution of these bigger monitors is also important. I’ve been using a Dell S2721QS (2021 4k model) 27-inch monitor for a while now. Needing better workflow improvements and a dual monitor setup, the release of the new 2025 model of the Dell 2725QC monitor was a welcome opportune addition. One needs to just look at the screen on the Dell 27” 4K screens to realize what you’ve been missing. The color accuracy and clarity on a Dell matte screen means less eye strain and more productivity. The size is perfect for a guy like me who sometimes has to look at data in a bigger context, and the fact that one can have 4 windows on one screen and still have it be usable is just insane. Since I now have two Dell monitors of equal size and resolution, I decided to see what the real world upgrade differences that brings to updated model numbers. Right away, the unboxing and assembly on the new Dell S2725QC is much easier. I have to hand it to Dell, the screw mount system is just genius, it makes assembly so easy! Both my 27-inch screens support dual HDMI (though locations are a bit different), and both support Display Port, but only one, the new 2025 model S2725QC supports Display Port over USB-C. In fact the addition of USB C and USB A has probably been the biggest change that I can see. There are two USB A’s,and two USB-C’s. The front panel has a click down “USB A and C” in addition to the two around the back. One of which can power a laptop while providing video. One forgets how big one of these 27” monitors are. The amount of desk real estate two 27-inch monitors take up is insane, each monitor with 24 inches of width takes up an entire standard 48” sit-stand desk with none to spare. Once you do get the monitors comfortably sitting and balanced on your table, you appreciate the various niceties, like the height adjustable stand, which features pivot, tilt and swivel. This is a feature that I absolutely appreciate, as a lot of the time, we have to adjust the screen to better suit our position, especially on a sit-stand desk. So how is this Dell S2725QC compared to the older Dell S2721SC in terms of image quality. Short of that the new screen is brighter, and has a slightly better contrast ratio (at least in specs), my eyes could not tell the difference. The image quality is beautiful, clear and color accurate. The viewing angle is perfect and there is no eye strain. The new model speakers have improved sound quality, and the stand mount is better designed. A word of caution to those planning to run dual 27” 4k monitors. Besides making sure they fit on your desk, one needs to make sure your computer can support both screens be it by HDMI or USB-C at the native resolution. Most modern computers will run a 4K monitors for business applications with no problems, but will struggle when it comes to gaming or anything GPU intensive in native 4K resolution unless you have a decent video card. I found my work laptop struggled a bit with dual 4k screens vs. a single 4k monitor, but my personal computers had no problem powering both monitors at 4k resolution. So it does help to make sure your equipment is ready to handle a dual monitor setup, What are my final thoughts? If you are looking for a great screen at a great price, this Dell 27” S2725QC is definitely it. Having used one of the older models for 2+ years, I have no hesitation in recommending this monitor to anybody. The monitor is color accurate, which graphics designers, photo/video editors will appreciate. Business applications users and college students would enjoy the bigger screen resolution and real estate to help improve productivity. The gamer would appreciate the 120 Hz AMD FreeSync capability for hours of gaming,

Stunning is the first word that comes to mind to describe the display. The monitor is also as functional as it is aesthetically pleasing. Dell has definitely hit a homerun with their S2725QC 27" IPS LED 4K UHD 120Hz FreeSync Monitor. As packaged: • Dell 27" IPS LED 4K UHD 120Hz FreeSync Monitor and stand • USB Type-C to Type-C cable (10Gbps and 100W rated) • Power cable • Quick setup guide • Warranty, safety and regulation information booklet As previously stated, this monitor is very aesthetically pleasing. It fits right in my décor and keeps me looking forward to using it. I use it primarily for working from home as an extension of my work laptop. At 27 inches, I have enough viewing area to multitask. Thanks to its narrow bezels, you literally get all “screen”. It has height adjustment, tilt and swivel movement options. At nearly 15 pounds, it is fairly easy to move around should the need arise. The matte IPS display provides antiglare benefits and is capable of a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, certifying it as 4K. Color reproduction is accurate in my opinion with phenomenal viewing angles of bright and vivid visuals. There are eight presets and a custom option for viewing content. To enhance the viewing experience, the monitor is capable of 120Hz refresh rate. Fast moving scenes are handled with ease with practically little to no juddering. With the integrated speakers, Dell’s S2725QC could be tagged as a multimedia device. The two speakers have a 5W output each with modest bass reproduction. While it may not replace a soundbar or home theater setup, I have streamed music and video via the monitor with pleasant results. To personalize the sound output, there are five audio profiles (presets) and a custom option to choose from. If Dell’s goal was to keep the user engaged once connected, they certainly achieved that. There are two HDMI 2.1 ports, one USB Type-A, and a DisplayPort 1.4 (USB Type-C) for connectivity located at the rear of the monitor. The included 3-foot USB Type-C cable, capable of 10Gbps and rated at 100W, is an added bonus as there are no HDMI cables included. The connected device, my laptop in this case, is also charged at 65W thus eliminating an additional power adapter. While USB Type-A ports may be disappearing, Dell’s S2725QC generously provides two for use. My current laptop does not have a USB Type-A so this feature was very welcomed. Another USB Type-A (5Gbps with battery charging) port in addition to a USB Type-C (5Gbps and 15W rated) port can be accessed by pressing under the left side of the monitor. The ports provide easy utility as they face the user when deployed. To help identify their location, Dell includes a label. Dell packages the monitor with the end user unboxing in mind. I was able to easily attach the stand to the screen. The screws required for the connections can be fastened without an actual screwdriver. Once the stand and its base have been securely fastened, the monitor can be safely removed from the packaging. The stand and the rear of the monitor both feature integrated cable management systems to help keep things tidy. Every now and then, a device/item comes along that ticks all the right boxes and is sheer perfection. Dell’s S2725QC 27" IPS LED 4K UHD 120Hz FreeSync Monitor is just that kind of device in my opinion. With a generous warranty, Dell’s legendary robust build quality and eye comfort even over extended use this monitor is a sound investment in my books for work or play. Did we mention it is also Energy Star rated? I wholeheartedly recommend.

This Dell - S2725QC 27" IPS LED 4K UHD 120Hz FreeSync Monitor is a great product. Being home based for work and having my equipment supplied by my company I forgot how much I miss a really great monitor. Dell put some thought into both the product and packaging. I have mine connected via HDMI to my hub and the 4K resolution is stunning and clear. How about Dell and Premium Panel Exchange, this allows a free panel replacement during the Dell Limited Hardware Warranty period even if only one bright pixel is found. Premium Panel Exchange is not a standard or upsell Support service, this alone almost makes it worth it. Aside from that these connections: - Optional wireless dongle - You can also add a wireless dongle that will interface with your connected computer - Via the USB-C cable or equivalent, it will send your display signal to your display as well as provide power to your USB-C powered laptop, providing up to 65 watts at the same time. - There are three other available USB ports two USB Type-A 5 Gbps downstream ports, one with charging capabilities and one additional USB Type-C port with 5 Gbps downstream capabilities, along with power delivery of up to 15 watts. - There are also two HDMI ports, which all meet HDMI specifications for HDMI 2.1. And the best.. Two of the USB ports are a pop-out forward-facing in a hidden hub. Did I mention the actual color and clarity of the display... Side by side with another "stock" monitor, there is no comparison, the Dell wins hands down.

The Dell 27" Plus 4K USB-C Monitor has amazing sound. Typically, you look for a monitor with a great picture, the Dell monitor is worth the purchase just for the sound quality. The picture is sharp and images are well defined with excellent detail. The monitor has reduced blue light output which is better for your eyes. Not sure how I would test or confirm that but I'm glad to know the blue light is reduced. The monitor has an Energy Star rating, so it is energy efficient, also a big plus. The provided installation instructions are pretty straight forward, 3 pictures. See attached picture. Once attached the monitor seemed a bit wobbly. It moved up and down (tilted) as monitors do but it also moved side to side. Went to the Dell website and confirmed that yes, the monitor is supposed to move side to side. While testing I plugged in a Microsoft Surface and the display on the monitor did not fill the entire screen. A quick search for the issue returned instructions to adjust the display settings. Under System/Display I adjusted the Display Resolution from 1536 x 1024 to 1366 X 768 and the Surface screen filled the entire Dell Monitor. When setting up the monitor it has a couple of questions, language and one about allowing continuous charging, basically asking if you want connected devices to charge when the monitor is powered off. This option uses more energy so for me that was a no. It took me a few minutes to figure out that the "joystick" above the on/off button is how I move around to answer the setup questions. Printed, detailed instructions would have been most helpful. After figuring it out, I found very detailed instructions in the on-line manual. I would recommend giving it a quick read before installing.

Excellent picture, awesome sound, and lots of connections. This Dell 27 inch 4K monitor has a great picture. The colors are beautiful, no blur, no streaking, no ghost images, just beauty. Watching 4K UHD movies on this monitor is fabulous. Dark night scenes are no problem, no straining to see what is on screen. The sound coming from this monitor is just AWESOME. The speakers are loud and clear, great quality for watching movies. Connections for everything. Connect multiple devices, computers, phones, flash drives, headphones, game consoles, etc... There are so many connections. The cord management helps keep them out of the way. Using USB-C to connect my laptop instead of a heavier HDMI cable is a great option and works great. It will charge the laptop battery also so no worry about it dying in middle of whatever I'm doing, or having to connect the laptop power cord. The stand adjustments allow for various height and tilt preferences and is simple to put together and attach to the monitor. This monitor and stand are heavier and thicker. Quality built and definitely durable. There was minimal instruction for quick setup included in the box, basically pictures, which was enough to get started as it's really simple. There is also a QR code to get more instructions on their website and at the bottom is a link to download the Dell Display and Peripheral Manager. The Dell Display and Peripheral Manager gives many options of customizing the monitor, including preferences for displaying multiple pages, and allows the settings to be saved. This is an excellent monitor for everyday tasks, streaming movies, and game playing.

Packed well from Dell and everything included you need for most connections to a PC. Monitor design is excellent. It is well built and high quality. Buttons are smooth and responsive when making adjustments. Stand is excellent and adjustable for most needs. As for the display itself, the 4K UHD screen shines. The screen is plenty bright enough. Colors are true to life in all aspects. Whether doing photo editing or gaming, I found the colors true to life and accurate. Contrast was excellent as well and dark and lights colors were easily distinct from each other. I was able to see details in the background without any issues. The 120Hz refresh rates really excels. Gaming was smooth and graphics looked awesome. No flickering at all in any games I threw at it. As for text, it was clear and easy to read down to 8 font. For me, the 27” size is perfect. Will fit any desk perfectly. It is the right combination of size and compactness. Overall this monitor shined in every aspect. Whether an office person, gamer, or photo editor, I found the Dell S2725QC a great all-around monitor.

I’ve been using the Dell S2725QC 27" for video and photo editing, and I’m really happy with it. The 4K resolution is sharp and clear, and colors look accurate and vibrant, which makes my editing much easier. The HDR is surprisingly good too and adds nice depth and brightness to the image without looking overdone. It’s one of the few affordable monitors I could find that offers 4K at 120Hz, and the smoothness is noticeable whether I’m working on videos or browsing. The build quality feels solid, and the USB-C connection helps keep my workspace tidy. For the price, it’s definitely worth it. Just make sure that your warranty is valid in case you ever need support. I’d recommend this monitor to anyone who needs a good screen for creative projects.

I've only had this monitor for a couple weeks, but I really like it so far. The setup was easy, the monitor stand is sturdy and adjustable, and I like the variety of connection options. It works great with my MacBook using either the usbc or hdmi connections, the resolution is good, and I like the slightly-matte screen finish, since my workspace is bright, and a glossier screen would have had too much glare.

I use this monitor for work productivity. Using my MBP M4 and testing on the M3 and the clarity/text exceeded my expectations. Love that it's also a USB-C, just using a single cable to charge while using it. I purchased 3 at this time. I'm going to buy a monitor mount, as the desk one is fine, but isn't entirely steady, and can experience a bit of wobble.

I’m very please with the size, images and build quality of this monitor. I did need to purchase longer screws for my vesa mount monitor stand, but that was a cheap and easy fix. The speakers are also decent.

The Dell S2725QC is a stunning 27’’ 4K monitor with vibrant IPS display and smooth 120Hz refresh rate. USB-C connectivity makes it perfect for my MacBook. Colors are sharp, text is crisp, and build quality feels premium. Great for work, content creation, and entertainment. Highly recommended!

Great quality, easy set up, sleek design and a lot of ports for everything I need to plug in. Didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on a new monitor but needed something of pretty high quality and this fit the bill. Love that I can charge my phone through this as well.

Dell did such a great job with this monitor. Attaching the monitor to the stand was incredibly easy and intuitive and the monitor itself awesome. In my opinion 120Hz is a must have and the sound is better than I was expecting. Thanks BestBuy for offering another great deal.
