    Installation was done by Professional Installs llc through Best Buy. They reached out in advance to coordinate the specifics of the installation, showed up the next morning and everything was working by the end of the business day the cameras work great. Are easy to use, I’m very happy with my purchase very happy with the service provided

    im glad i had geek squad insteall the system. there were a few glitches that they figured out pretty quickly, would have taken me forever

    Miscommunication from the techs

    The techs were unable to install the cameras where I wanted them located. I was never told anything about the techs not being able to go into the crawl space to run wires. I ended up having to pay another company to install my cameras. The installation with Best Buy was suppose to be free with my total tech membership but due to the fact they were unable to run the wires I was left with no choice but to look elsewhere for the installation.

    Great job! The first system failed So bought another system The crew took down the previous system kept it organized so I could put it back in boxes for return Than they installed the new system, they were so conscientious hid wires etc

    Geek Squad NO SHOW Twice!

    I live in Palm Coast, FL, I purchased Swann 8 camera system and the Geek Squad installation, my first installation was from 8:00 to 12:00, and nobody called or showed up between 8 to 12, I then tried to call Best Buy to find out what was going on, I was transferred 3 times and on hold for one hour before I could speak to Install, she said to me I will check on your appointment, then she told me the Driver that was to install my camera system's poor running truck broke down on his way to my house, then she said I will try and get another person to install your camera system today and I will call you back today to let you know if I can or not, so I waited to 5:00 and she Never called me, so I called Best Buy install and he said the soonest I can send another person would be one week, so I made the 2nd appointment, now 2 days before the install I got a call from Best Buy saying we cannot install again because my appointment was miss managed, but if I want they can try again in about a week, I have never received this poor customer service from a company in my life, they seem like they just don't care, so I tried to install the camera system myself, I am a senior citizen and it took me about 5 hours with a little help from my wife, she is also a senior citizen, the only problems I had was running the cables in my attic, I had to crawl to some areas because the ceiling was low in some areas, but I got it done, now inside my house I had a little problem hooking it up to my TV, so I had to call Swann Tech Support, and by my surprise they picked up the phone right away, and gave me good Tech Support.

    It took 4 times for them to get it right! The first time they were late and didn’t call to reschedule until an hour after the appointment window. 2nd time they came out and told me I needed to purchase more wire without looking in the box. I purchased the additional wire. 3rd time the guy told me I didn’t need the extra wire, he installed the cameras but did not do it correctly, he didn’t hook them up to the internet. 4th time they were finally installed correctly.

    First guy couldn't instal cameras because he only had a 6' ladder. Second guy said we needed more cable-we purchased it. He was still unable to install. Third Geek Squad - has complete access to walk in attic, said it was obvious the first 2 installers just didn't want to do the job, told us to purchase a plan. STILL NO CAMERAS!, unbelievable. Yes the job would take several hours but every access is available to them. The manager of the 45 refunded our install fee instead of fulfilling his portion of the contract. These installers only wanted to pick the low growing fruit. Still not completely sure why Geek Squad was unable to install when their own guy said it was an easy job?

    waited since February now its may. Third party came to install 4 cameras, they didnt finish the job and mounted the wires on the outside leaving them exposed, I dont believe the wires are weather proof. The cameras are mounted but are not hook up

    The installers stated that they were unable to complete the installation... further stating that they don’t know why Best Buy indicated that the installation could be completed... they were extremely unprofessional and told me that Best Buy poorly schedules installations and “that’s probably why they had someone fall through a roof”... I am grossly disappointed with my overall Best Buy experience and have been waiting to hear back from corporate regarding this prolonged disappointing experience.

    One of the worst experiences I have had. After the hurricane was not coming to Crystal River, FL was not able to get installation rescheduled. The agents hung up on me several times, told they would get installer to release from his board and then they would call and reschedule. That never happened. Called store in Spring Hill to get their assistance but was unable to speak to anyone. We drove over 35 miles to get refund, which took almost two hours for them to get where they could refund. Very poor and unreliable service.

    The Worst Experience from Geek Squad!

    It's going on 3 weeks and the Technician did not return to complete the job. He told us in pieces what items were needed instead of telling us when he called to confirm appt. My husband went to Wal-Mart to buy one item. When he returned home, he had to leave back out to go to Best Buy to purchase cable because the Technician ran out. He asked that we call him so he can come back out to finish the job. Sadly, none of our calls were return. We spoke with different individuals and still no results.

    Unanswered questions between estimator & installer

    I wanted audio and squad could see it but estimator said I could not get it. So, what is the real answer. I can see all the settings. I can turn it on, adjust it, but it does not work. Why does my unit have audio settings if my estimator said my unit does not support it?

    This job is allotted to Bust buy third party agency and they did no good... damaged the wall Sheetrock and damaged sidings. Ethernet cables are not joined firmly, so that water went into joints and mold, mass was developed. Camera had to replaced.

    cameras look good in current locations. only thing is 2 of the 7 cameras shake when the wind blows. could have been placed a little different to prevent the shaking. I would still use Best Buy install team again.

    On 11 August the installers did not want to do the job so they lied and something was wrong with the DVR. I returned the system and rescheduled for 25 August. On 25 August I took off from work and no one showed up nor did they have the courtesy to call. When I finally called to find out the status I was told the installers refused the job. Very poor customer service!!!!
