Epson-EcoTank ET-2850

The Eco-Tank system was the deciding factor for my purchase. That option is nice but a sacrifice for other inconveniences. What I dislike most is no paper drawer. The paper sits upright on the backside of the printer. The option display screen is very small. You need to get right up to it to be able to read options requiring a response prior to printing. Also...it is very loud! No more Epson printers for me.

I had a Canon Pixma prior, and it was OK, but I had it for four years and NEVER got it to connect to the home WiFi net, nor did I ever get it to push scan. The Epson setup was flawless, downloading the software to desktop and mobile was equally easy. Can't speak to longevity of the ink tanks but filling and charging is easy enough also. I'm extremely happy, would certainly buy again if the need arose.

Expensive printer for mediocre printing

Meh, it's okay. I probably would not buy it again for the printing quality. Also, not impressed with the photo printing software that comes with it. It was easy to set up and I like having the large tanks of ink. They are easy to fill.
