I tried a Samsung UN32J5500 TV and the picture was lousy. This LG monitor has everything I wanted in a size that fit my space and a matte finish on the screen to boot. I exclusively watch discs (cannot tolerate commercials at all any more) and Blu-rays look fantastic (dvds not so much.) Fairly expensive but if picture quality matters to you worth every penny. Next wish 4k player....

This monitor offers exceptional Image quality. After using it ofr several months Im pleased with its reliability and apperance. Im using Diplayport with NVidia Card and couldnt be happier. You need to set Windows scaling to about 150% otherwise Icons will be tiny. Some apps ignore the scaling , too bad.

Flexible stand and clear picture! Use a DisplayPort wire for best performance.

I bought this monitor after reading numerous reviews to replace my failing 8 year old Apple monitor for my Macbook Pro. It was easy to set up, but no one told me to match the displays on the monitor and laptop, so it took some time to figure that out. Otherwise, it has worked great since then with brilliant color and sharpness. No regrets here. Price at $400 was a bargain.

I watched the price of this models predecessor for 6 months and then this one, the 69, came out and went on sale well below what the 68 was going for. I've been very happy with this one for the price and features. Best 4k 27+ inch IPS out there. LG screens for TV and PC are best value for sure.

This monitor for the price is the best you can get, the colors are really great I went on youtube and watch some 4k videos and I was really impressed by the color I don,t have many games yet but I have Star Wars battlefront 2 and the colors where great I have a 1060 video card I'm glad I got this monitor I would diffinitly recommend this moniter

I'm using this LG monitor with the PS4 and it looks great. The 4k resolutions helps even if your only gaming at 1080p. Gaming on a monitor is the way to go for FPS games as they have a better response time and it's just easier for me to spot enemies due to the picture clarity. One thing to note is that the monitor initially didn't look very clear for gaming on the regular PS4, but then I found a setting called "Super Resolution" and turned it on high and it really cleared up the textures in the games but you can see more jagged edges up close. I'm sure the jaggies are almost non existent when gaming at 4k (I plan to find out). Overall, great monitor, very happy with the purchase.

I bought this to use with my xbox one and I am extremely happy with this monitor. Crystal clear perfect for gaming. I have a 4K T.V. also but gaming with this monitor seems so much smoother.

I had been looking around at monitors because I was going to purchase an xbox one x. I had seen video reviews on this monitor on Youtube and there were so many good reviews. The monitor did not disappoint! Yes, there are other options, of course you'll have to spend more money, but this is a very good monitor that you can't go wrong with.

I purchased this monitor to replace an old 1080p monitor and it has exceeded my expectations. It also can double as a a screen for my 4K Sony blue ray player. It has a great picture and is a nice size on a desk as compared with a 32 in monitor. I am also very happy with LG as a brand and have had many products in the past from his company.

This is my first 4k monitor and I really love it. For the price point I got it at it can't be beat. Colors are vivid but not overwhelming. Editing photos in Lightroom or Photoshop lets me see more subtle features I never noticed before and helps make me a better photographer and post processor. For me there are no negatives to this screen.

I used this for 60 fps gaming, as of a result, very enjoyable time. I was unaware of anything wrong with the picture quality due to there was none. However, I do recommend usage of the free sync and display port for best resolution. You need to test your graphics card for free sync and color calibration.

Overall, the LG 27UD69P display is a beautifully designed monitor with plenty of useful features for both gaming and everyday use. The monitor is ideal for those who are looking for a reasonably priced 4K display that focuses on gaming features rather than everyday multimedia use or professional color-critical work. It's not an Apple Thunderbolt Display replacement for designers or photographers. The sleek and thin bezel design with extensive ergonomics complement the good image quality and solid performance and make for a great deal once all things are considered.

Great picture at a good price point and easy install

The picture quality of the LG is outstanding. The images look like they are painted on the screen. The added benefit of the 4k display is that I can arrange 2 full-size applications side by side on the screen and work on both simultaneously. The only minor nit is that the stand is not as adjustable as I would like.

I’m a web developer/designer and am getting into computer animation. I wanted a monitor to give me accurate colors and video display with enough real estate for multiple open programs. This monitor leaves me speechless. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. My experience with bestbuy was also top notch.

Awesome colors, smooth game play with most games(bf1,gtav,pubg). Freesync works great. Don't forget to download lg monitor software to make the freesync work properly. easy assembly, very stable.
