    Worked exactly as expected, and did a fine job. But the step up to the RE2000 might be worth it if you need to extend it a little further or want to increase your speed a little bit. All in all a good product though--never go wrong with LinkSys.

    Very easy installation -I have never used one before and had no problem setting up in less than five minutes. Went from 3 bars on far side of my house to five bars everywhere.

    I was having problems getting wifi service throughout my house and since I got the extender my cell phone service is also better - so much better since using my wifi

    My router had to be placed in the basement of our home and the wi-fi would drop if you had to use it on the first floor. The extender made it capable for us to use wi-fi with out having to go downstairs all the time.
