Washer is very quiet as is dishwasher. Dishwasher is very spacious with on door rack for silverware. Washer handles large loads of laundry well.

Replaced a 12 year old LG that had begun to leak. This model is very fast and quieter than older model. Very pleased so far with wash results.

I must of repaired our washer 4 or 5 times but when the drum bearing started going out I decided to purchase a new washer. I chose this one mainly due to user reviews. I would agree with the positives. The machine is quiet and efficient and it has a much larger load compatibility than our old Neptune which was a 3.5 cu/in We really like our new Maytag machine.

Our old Samsung stopped working and was more to repair than this brand new washer was to buy. Straightforward controls and is really quiet. Our laundry room is behind a closed door just off of our family room and does not interfere with movie night. Installers were extremely efficient and went over features and all questions.

Purchased the front load maytagwasher and dryer (5500) models about a month ago to replace 22 years old Maytag top load washer and electric dryer. The new Maytag units are quiet and efficient, they Do more laundry thus reducing the time spent on the task.

Replaced my 10 year old Bosch with this one and love it. Extra large capacity and multiple settings make this a real winner. It's also quiet! No complaints here.

We have been very pleased with the washer. Clothes feel and smell clean. Easy to operate and cycles seem fairly quick.

I did a lot of research on a new washer for the house before making a purchase. This one by Maytag was getting tons of positive reviews. I was comfortable spending a little extra on a product I felt comfortable with and I’m glad I did. The washer is great. Very quite and well balanced. And very water and energy efficient.

Purchased this washing machine to replace a 19 year old Maytag that was built like a tank. It does a good job getting anything we put in it clean. This machine is much quieter than our old one and spins clothes nearly dry before they're put in to the dryer

Had to replace my LG washer due to a bent drum. The repair guy said there were 4 parts they needed, but they could only locate 3 of them. Needless to say he didn't recommend another LG, so we were looking for something dependable with a good warranty that cleans as expected. Did some research online and decided on this Maytag. So far it has been great. The wash cycle times have been much less than our LG (45 mins vs 1 hr 15 for normal), and it seems to be using less water. The reviews on BB said it wasn't an HE washer, but I recall reading in the manual or the Maytag website that it was. Either way, it is much better than our old washer, and I have peace of mind with a 10 year warranty. We opted not to get the upgraded model with the automatic dispenser because we read they don't always work as expected, and it wasn't worth the extra money to us. Also, when we bought our washer, the following week it went on sale. Thank goodness BB has the price match because we were able to get the difference back. Thanks BB!

I really like my new washer. Haven't tried all the cycles yet. It is quiet, easy to use and quite efficient. The bleach dispenser does call for chlorine bleach only. If using color bleach you need to put it directly into the washer. Can do a larger load than my old washer, which is a great time saver.

I love this machine...easy to use...and I've noticed how much cleaner my clothes are. You do need to read instructions about wiping around the rubber seal. I've heard complaints from others about a smell...but if you just read and follow instructions, you won't have this problem! My husband can even use it! hahaha

This washer is easy to use, uses very little water and needs very little detergent to get the items clean

Bought this unit with the matching dryer a couple of months ago. The capacity is excellent, as is the washing performance. The machine is easy to use and quiet compared to the last front-loader. Very pleased with the purchase, and Best Buy did a great job delivering and installing.

I have seen this model in the store for a while and loved it. The washing machine was going out. and eventually just flat out died, so we had to replace it. These models were on clearance and we jumped at the chance. I am thrilled. I was not sure I wanted a front loader as I have heard they have more maintenance (monthly cleaning and wiping out gaskets and such) but I just love how these clean and dry. I would buy this again and again. I have found that I can get through a weeks worth of laundry in one day. Back to back loads are washed with no worries, quick, efficient, and clean.

I have always been a Maytag person. My 11 year old did a great job but I had to leave it for,the buyers of my home. This new one is even better! Clothes are cleaner! Machine is so quiet I don’t hear it at all.

I am really enjoying my new Maytag Washing machine! I haven't had a new washer in 15 yrs. This new Maytag is quiet and I love how you can set it to spin out more efficiently and saves so much time on drying the clothes. My next purchase will be the Maytag dryer.
