I've had my system for around two months now and I quite enjoy playing it. I have only had one other DS system (the Nintendo DS Lite) and adjusting to the key differences has been very seamless for me. I don't much use the internet or 3D features but they are nifty to have. Only point of contention: I had to buy a charger.

The new 3dsxl is am amazing upgrade to the original 3dsxl. The CPU upgrade adds a snappier feel to the system. The new 3D is amazing, and simply blows away the original 3dsxl's 3D capabilities. The new analog nub is pretty good, though I wish they had integrated a better analog stick similar to the left side analog control.

Because you already know how awesome this product is. I upgraded from a 2DS and couldn't be happier. The new 3DS fits much better in an adult's hand and has some weight to it. The 3D feature is actually worth using, I don't think I've ever turned it off.

The little additions do not seem like much at first, but the sum is greater than its parts. The 3D is way better and the nub really comes in handy on some games. If you are in the market for a portable this really is the way to go, especially considering how much the 3DS game library has blossomed over the last few years.

I picked up a 3DS XL for fun and nostalgia for old school games. For the most part, I am very happy with the purchase. the device design is pretty nice. I would say my only gripes with the design is the hinge of the two displays. I think Nintendo could have done something a little differently to secure it a little better. It isn't bad, but it would make the device feel a whole lot more solid in the hand. Beyond that, the size is very nice, the joysticks fit well in the hands, and its not too heavy. I am very happy with the platform and the game category. Full disclosure, I own a PS Vita as well and play games on that as well. I think both platforms have good things to offer people. The both bring different things to the table. The 3DS XL brings me a lot of old school games and I love it. Definitely a good buy for someone looking for a game platform with old school games and some great new titles.

My son is able to play online with his friends. The screen is bigger than the regular 3DS, but it is still very easily portable.

The 3ds is amazing and I cant believe how amazing the screens look. You can adjust the amount of 3d on the top screen and the device itself is not that bulky yet sturdy. I love this limited edition as it is plain black and white but being that it is pokemon it is a must have. Price is fair but it does not come with a charger.

I enjoy the upgrades the New 3DS has to offer over the original. Especially the 3D effect! I can use it all the time now while moving around. It changed the entire dynamic of all games I couldn't play before in 3D. If you have the smaller original 3DS, I would recommend upgrading to this one. You wont be disappointed.

I waited a long time to get the 3DSXL for it's larger size. The smaller version was uncomfortable for my large hands, this version is much more comfortable. The larger size makes games much easier to see and the improved 3D stability is much more reliable, very little out of focus and I move around a lot!

First of all, the best part about the New 3DS is the 3d actually works. No more seeing double images if you move your head slightly. I used to turn the 3D off, but now play with it on most of the time. Most of the other changes are minor. I like the new placement of the start and select buttons and the game slot.

I got this because I never owned a 3DS and I read that this one was better than the previous versions of the 3DS. I like the system, the 3D is pretty good. The improved 3D seems to work fairly well. I haven't played anything that requires use of the C-stick yet though but overall this is a good handheld system.

Nintendo 3D greatness in a handheld

Definitely worth the upgrade, or even for the first time user. First off, the new 3DS XL's 3D has improved tremendously!! You'll definitely not want to put this down once you start!! No more fighting for a sweet spot, because the system tracks your face to make sure you keep the 3D effect. If ever you lose it, it takes but a second to correct itself. And if that weren't enough, it has a faster processor (everything loads quicker, be it menus, games, etc.), NFC functionality built in (for your Amiibo and more), MicroSD card storage, C-Sticks, two new shoulder buttons (No need for a Circle Pad Pro)... It's great, and all at what the old 3DS XL used to cost.

If you need a gaming system that looks gorgeous at half the cost of the larger consoles, then this is definitely The One!! The 3d looks great and is better than previous versions. Purchased this for my 7 year old son and have ended up playing many hours myself. Recommend paring with Luigi's Haunted Mansion.

The stable 3D, the c-nub, and responsiveness makes this a good upgrade if you already have the original 3DS, however if you don't have it and are interesting in getting a portable console, I highly recommend this! Although the PS Vita's hardware is superior, without a doubt, the 3DS has a much better library.

The New Nintendo 3DS Xl is a wonderful enhancement on the DS system. While it takes a little getting used to the 3D depth from the top screen to the 2D bottom screen, the 3D depth slider helps you find the right settings which work best for you. I heartily recommend this system for any Nintendo DS enthusiast.

I've always wanted a ds since the first one came out and never got the chance to buy one. I bought this one because my girlfriend wanted to be able to play together so I went ahead and got it. The 3ds is really fun to use, since I'm busy with school I haven't exactly been using it much, but I do find myself using this relatively often. The 3D function is not used often but I do occasionally turn it on for fun. I would say that for $200 you might want to wait for a sale. I'd say anything below $160 would be a reasonable price to jump on. Since the smaller 3ds is actually gonna be on sale for $99 Black Friday I may recommend jumping on that instead!

I have the previous 3DS XL, and this one is clearly superior in every level. Significantly faster, awesome screen (no blurry images when using 3D), better wireless features etc. It's definitely worth buying if you're on the market for a 3DS.
