While the resolution is great, there are issues with the embedded audio features in this monitor, which currently are non-functioning with a macbook air.

Great Monitor. Nice Color and text are crisp. I use this as a studio monitor and not for gaming but it would do fine for that. I only took off one star because I do not like not having a dedicated power button. To turn it on is fine but to turn it off, you have to hit the button then arrow down to power off. Sometimes I miss the button and hit the wrong thing. This my not bother others though.

First off, I'm not a gamer. This was a purchase meant to extend my working canvas for Photoshop and video editing work as well as productivity. Opening an Excel sheet on one of these things spoils you. Colors seem solid and hooking it up was a non-issue...I plugged an HDMI cable in from my laptop and I was underway.
So...for my use...at this price...this thing is 5 stars. If you're looking for a gaming monitor, you may or may not find this is what you're looking for.
I'd buy another one without hesitation.

I have been using for a month and had no issues. I find the 34 in is better than two individual monitors. I connect this to my docking station then laptop. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.

Exactly ad the title says. Scooped this monitor for $280 in store 3440x1440 5ms g2g 100hz. Blacks couod be better and game mode just makes everything gray. OSD leaves much to be desired. You get what you pay for though in this product category so if on tight budget i would definitely recommend. However if you have the extra $120 to spend I'd go with another option.

My experience using this monitor with a pair of MacBook Pros was not ideal. My goal was to use the PbP feature and the wide ratio to display side by side source from each laptop. While I was able to get this to work, the resulting distorted resolution wasn't useful at all, and wouldn't be unless you were planning on just streaming full screen video. As a single source monitor, things worked OK, but I getting acceptable color reproduction was a battle, and the non-4k resolution left a lot to be desired with any graphics work or reading small text. Ultimately, the monitor went back to the store because it just wasn't working well with the Mac. The extra wide ratio was very useful to have, though.
