Overall a very nice laptop with all the bells and whistles I like. Plenty of connection outlets. I also purchased a small, inexpensive CD/DVD reader/writer to transfer old back ups, play movies and sharing. Getting used to Windows 8 not too hard after adjusting settings to my liking (more like XP). Maybe a bit small size for reading but compactness more important. The only 1 TB available in the PCs available. Screen clarity excellent, good enough not to consider paying twice the amount for a Mac.

I really like my new laptop but I must say the touch screen is taking more getting used to than I had imagined. I have an iphone so I thought this would be an easy transition however it is extremely sensitive even when using the keyboard and I am constantly hitting screens I dont want/need. Other than that this has been a good purchase.

I purchased this for my son to use as he starts college. As I was setting it up for him, I quickly decided I liked his laptop much more than mine. It has a great screen and the backlit keyboard is great. That may seem trivial, but when you have one, it makes it hard to go back. The build quality is very nice. So far this is an excellent laptop.

I'm a Toshiba fan and this laptop does not disappoint. It's a quality laptop and I would recommend this laptop to others. It's also very sleek looking. My only complaint is that it takes a while sometimes to open apps, which is frustrating to me since I just bought this computer a few weeks ago.

Moved from a 17" five year old Dell that was starting to have issues. I got this as a laptop of the day and have not been disappointed. Quick start up, loads of memory, quick response. Windows 8 was not hard to adapt to. My only complaint is the power cord connects on the left side so it's always in the way. Plus side, long battery life so power cord is not always an issue. Am very happy with this.
