I purchased a 65" Sony OLED TV from Best Buy to replace the 14 year old 50" Plasma set mounted above the fireplace in our living room. I knew given the size of the new TV and the fact that I am now 74 meant I would need someone do the installation for me. I purchased the Geek Squad TV Connect of 56" and larger installation service.
The work that Jamison and his co-worker did in removing our old TV and installing the new one is without question "Best of Class" in my opinion. The installation was not nearly as simple as I thought it would be. After taking the old set down, it was readily apparent that my thought to just move the old wall mount from the back of the old TV and bolt it to the TV. That would have worked. But the unsightly connection of wires connecting from the ORBI Mesh network and Roku and other factors would have made it look like it was not professionally installed. They relocated the original wall mount and set up the wires so that nothing was showing. It was not an easy task. Jamison then made changes to the way I had the TV Remote set up to enhance the quality of the TV picture and the sound. Finally, they cleaned up and everything when finished.

I have had my T.V. replaced twice in recent weeks. Both times the Geek Squad came out to set up. (65 Inch Samsung). The first time, the Geek Squad set-up was great. Gave a very "brief" explanation regarding my T.V and told me my present soundbar would not work, but, gave no answer on how it could work. (Or, just that it was out-dated). The second time they came out, set it up crooked, did not tell me anything regarding my T.V. (instructions) and, even with a special hook-up cord bought at Best Buy, could not hook up the old soundbar. Part of this was my fault, but, always be prepared when the Geek Squad comes to your home. (Had other good experiences prior on other item set-ups).

The geek squad you sent to my home were wonderful! They showed up and set up the tv in a short time. I liked that they were Father and Son. Also they love dogs, which made me happy I didn’t have to put my Lab outside. Thank you for a Wonderful job!

The TV’s were installed perfectly by the Geek Squad-Matt.
I bought the tech package for $180 and what a disappointment.
My remote wouldn’t work with the one TV. I was passed from one Geek Squad to 4 others for help. No one would take the time to help. Customer service at the store passed me off, too. So for $180 I got no help. Clear Picture cable company solved the problem for $ O dollars.. The remote needed to be reprogrammed to the TV.
I still want to speak to the manager of Best Buy and can’t reach him!

He did a good job BUT suggsted not hooking up VC . Not hooked up and we have hundreds of DVD's and tapes we cannot see now. I'm very disappointed!

Nate and Mike had several things to do! Get rid of an old tv, move a big tv to another place and install a bigger tv! They were champs. And it was just as agents were being allowed to enter homes again. Working in the special gear must have been a bit challenging, but you would have never known it! They moved along easily! And they were very friendly.

I was very glad that I choose to use the Geek Squad service. The service person showed up on time and gave me a twenty minute notice. I really like the online communication and their set up was extremely quick. When I checked the set up, the wires in the back of the TV were all organized in a very neat fashion. They programed the TV and set up the remove, as well as showed me how to use it. Great Service.
